Nautical Mile is located on Post Rd (US Rt 1) in Wells, ME near Ogunquit, Kennebunk & Kennebunkport.
The resort is located right on the seasonal trolley line so you can leave your car behind and explore the area without the worry of parking. The resort is a hotel/motel condominium style vacation and getaway resort which is open year around and is located just north of York, Maine. We are just a short distance to many fine seafood restaurants, shopping, beautiful beaches, or venture further to enjoy ocean views on your vacation getaway. This resort features a lovely heated inground pool, hot tub, tennis courts, and outdoor grill. If you are looking for an affordable vacation condo to call home then this is the place!
Guests can typically check in earlier than 4pm by texting the owner on the day of arrival. If the unit is ready then we will gladly give you the key!

Easy 5-minute drive to the beach, where I always found free parking. Place would probably be too small for more than 2 people, but was perfect for a couple. Friendly staff, nice strong AC.
My husband, one year old, and I had a great stay at the Nautical Mile. It is in a great location and was perfect for our needs. Chris the owner was very easy to contact and very helpful. I would highly recommend this location for your next beach vacation.
Our stay with Christopher was exactly what we were looking for. The place is cozy, but worked just fine for my husband, my 13yo and myself. Conveniently located in Wells, right next door to the famous Congdon's Doughnuts (and their Congdon's after-dark food truck rodeo), it was the perfect jumping off point for our family adventure in southern Maine. Highly recommended!
Christopher was an amazing host! He was very attentive by answered all our questions promptly and checking in on us during our stay. This quaint rental met all of our needs--a place to sleep and shower (since most of our days were filled with exploration of beautiful ME!).
This unit was everything I expected and more for my 4 day getaway. Perfect for 1-2 people. Close to the beach, heated pool, full kitchen, comfy bed plus safe, quiet and immaculate. Loved the sun porch off the bedroom. Well decorated and the kitchen had everything you could possibly need. I even cooked a few meals and there were community grills next to the tennis courts. It was close to everything - walked to the grocery store and several restaurants. And can’t beat Congdon’s next store for a donut or the food trucks. Centrally located for easy day trips or a quick dinner in Ogunquit, Kennebunk, York, or Old Orchard Beach. Chris was a pleasure to rent from- very focused on ensuring I had a great experience. He was flexible and responsive. I will definitely rent again.
I stayed in the apartment for 5 weeks. It had everything needed for a comfortable stay. It is a small space but very functional and well laid out. The location was awesome, a mile from the beach made for perfect morning walks/jogs. There is a well-known donut and breakfast place right next door. There are really good restaurants to eat around. Grocery, pharmacy, general stores and even cinemas are within walking distance. The resort does not have a gym but I was surprised to know that they have a deal with a nearby gym (5 min walk) to use their facilities for free. Group classes are paid separate at a great rate. The kitchen was well equipped. The bed and pillows were comfortable and extra blankets were provided. Though I was by myself most of the time, I had a visitor and she reported the sofa bed to be comfortable as well. I would definitely stay again.
We were very, very happy with our stay at Chris's property. The apartment was small, but more than enough for 2 people (if you don't mind a crowd, the couch also pulled out). The bed was comfy, and everything was immaculately clean. The little porch extension attached to the bedroom was a nice little spot to have meals in. Right outside, you have access to a pool, a great hottub, and tennis courts if that suits your needs. The property was located next door to Congdon's Donuts, a must-visit location for amazing baked goods, breakfasts, and food trucks in the evenings. It's a 5-10 minute walk from grocery, pharmacy, and Tully's beer and wine (best shop in the area by far). If you fancy a longer walk, it's only 1 mile from the beach (a very short drive). There are numerous restaurants and activities like mini-putt nearby. This is a spectacular location! Chris was very pleasant to deal with, and made certain we were comfortable during our stay! This rental was top-tier, and we'd definitely stay again. Highly recommended! Thanks again Chris!
Christopher was fantastic with communications before our stay. The pictures give a true representation of the unit. The rooms were spotlessly clean on our arrival. Great value and a wondeful spot for a couple.
It was a pleasant experience! The amenities were great ( pool, hot tub, tennis court & bbq. Right next door to Congdon’s Donuts & food trucks at night. The unit was clean and nicely decorated not really large enough for 4 but you can make it work. The owner was extremely helpful and definitely went out of his way to please us.

Neat, comfy, tidy, will accommodate 3 guests but perfect for one. Great location. Just on top of the hill, 1 mile from beach. Close, but not too close. Places right on the beach have to deal with a lot of traffic. Pool and hot tub was awesome. Place was very relaxed and quiet, even during busy parts of the day.

My family and I had a wonderful stay at the Nautical Mile! The condo provided everything we needed and was perfectly located between Kennebunkport and Ogunquit. I would highly recommend this unit to anyone- adorably decorated, clean, and well-stocked! Christopher was a delight to communicate with and very receptive to our needs. We can't wait to return to our new favorite getaway by the beach!

I had such a wonderful time staying at Chris' place in Wells. I was looking for a quiet place to get away from my normal day-to-day life and work on writing projects this winter and Chris' spot was perfect for me. The space was cozy, the bed was quite comfortable, and I had everything I could possibly need, especially for a month-long stay. I was so close to the beach and walked there frequently and also popped over to Laudhold Farm to snowshoe. I was close to Hannaford's to pick up groceries. The wi-fi was fast and suited my needs. Just be aware that there aren't many restaurants or coffee shops open this time of year (January), though that wasn't an issue for me. All in all, it was a perfect spot for me!

Our fall getaway in Wells was great. Our condo was in the perfect location for shopping, walks on the beach and an indoor pool was made available to us at a sister property less than 5 minutes away. The condo was clean, comfortable and nicely decorated and the owner Chris was very attentive and quickly responded to any questions we had. I would absolutely recommend this property to family and friends. The Wells historical society library and archives which is located a short walk away has lots of information for those researching their ancestors. And Congdon donuts has great baked goods and a family restaurant. Mike's clam shack, with great seafood and desserts is within walking distance as well.
This condo never disappoints. It is exceptionally clean and comfortable. The heated pool and hot tub are awesome. The outside area also provides plenty of lounge chairs and umbrella table seating. There is a very large tennis court and barbecue area. The condo is located perfectly between Ogunquit and Kennebunkport. Chris Barnard is very professional and kind. If you want a vacation spot to relax and forget about life for a while, this is the place.

The rooms were very clean and nicely decorated. The pool was wonderful. Quiet at nite and central location to the beaches and restaurants.
The actual rental was much smaller than portrayed in info. Is more like an efficiency. No table to eat on. Well decorated and furnished. Close to most things anyone would need.
It was a great place to stay. Very close to a variety of places to eat, things to do with family and just staying on the premises was great fun.

We had a wonderful time at this condo. The description says it all..............it was very clean, it was extremely quaint and cozy, and absolutely the the RETREAT we were looking for. The unit was decorated beautifully and it was very comfortable. We really enjoyed the large outdoor hot tub and heated pool. This condo is the center of everything we wanted to do. Chris suggested Drakes Island Beach for us and it was perfect. It is also a short drive to Kennebunk and Ogunquit. Marginal Way and Perkins Cove are a must. What a beautiful scenic walk along the coast in Ogunquit. We will definitely refer our friends and family. Already looking at our calendar to return next year!
The apartment is very clean and the pool area is also very clean. You find every thing you need in the kitchen. Bring your towels and sheet and relax! L'endroit est très propre de même que la piscine. La cuisine est bien équipée, il vous suffit d'apporter vos draps et serviettes et vous êtes installés!
