My Newport Place - Steps to Beach

Wonderful location. Owner was very communicative which we appreciated.

We had a wonderful time at this beach house in October! The location was perfect - a short walk to the beach with beautiful ocean views. The house was spotless, well equipped and comfortable. October weather was ideal - sunny and warm without the summer crowds. Check in was a breeze. We enjoyed morning walks, local coffee shops and restaurants, a Sunday morning Farmers' Market, bike rides and incredible sunsets! Highly recommend this property for a relaxing beach getaway.

The property was just as advertised, well-furnished, clean, full of amenities including a garage which was a huge plus as on-street parking can be limited. We had everything we needed and wanted, including a washer & dryer. The only detraction was not being able to access the property until later than promised due to late cleaning. We would happily return.

Incredible house, especially for longer stays or with family/larger groups! The upstairs downstairs areas make this house perfect for spreading out groups. The amenities were numerous, with every imaginable kitchen appliance, from spices to bakewear, to the assortment of bikes, boards, and water toys, creating numerous activity options both inside and around the house..House is very clean, has a garage and both host are very helpful with any questions you might have. Right of the beach within walking distance to Lido Penisula

A great place in newport beach a 5 min walk max to the boardwalk for beach, bike, restaurants and bars. also walking distance to balboa island and biking distance to huntington beach. Owners are very welcoming.

The beach house stay was wonderful! We had everything we needed available to use such as beach towels and toys, trash bags, shampoo and conditioner, and ziplock bags. It was well stocked with everything we needed! We loved being so close to the beach and restaurants! It was a perfect place for a vacation!

The house was in a great location and just as described. Host was amazing and so accommodating to all my timing requests!!

We have stayed in Newport beach on a number of occasions and found Joan and Joe's property to be the most comfortable with the best location; especially for a family of 4. Close enough to hear the surf at night but far enough away to not hear the cars and surfers at the pier. Joe was quick respond when I had a question. We loved the front porch and umbrellas and the convenience of a two car garage. We look forward to another stay in 2026.

This is a great location, close to everything. Clean and well stocked.

This is our third time staying with Joe and Joan. My family loves staying at their place. They have everything you could want including games, and toys for the kids. Great trip and great experience.

Our stay at Newport Beach was fantastic. The place was clean, comfortable and homey. Joe and Joan are excellent hosts and have the garage stocked with everything you need for the beach!! Just a 60 second walk to the sand. The place was perfect for our family of 5. We hope to come back next year for a longer stay.

We had a wonderful stay in this house. The communication with the owners is outstanding. The house is clean and has all the amenities we needed. The location is perfect, close to restaurants & the pier and in a quiet neighborhood. We will definitely be back! Thanks Joe!

The garage parking is so nice to have. They have it stocked with everything you need for the beach! They have towels, chairs, boogie boards, toys bikes! It’s perfect. The house is clean and the kitchen is well stocked. The beds are comfy and it has a new washer and drying in the house. The location can’t be beat. The beach is 7 houses away from the beach and close to everything you want, restaurants, shops and the pier. It sleeps 6 comfortably and can sleep 8 will the couch. Having 2 bathrooms is very nice too.
