Beautiful condo with ocean view, shared pools and amazing views!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We spent a week in La Iguana condo in December 2025. The weather was beautiful and the condo was amazing. It is very quiet, at the very north end of the Half Moon Bay Akumal, but in a walking distance from couple of good restaurants and bars. The swimming and especially snorkeling was spectacular, with a reef and many sea creatures to look at. We mostly cooked our own food in a well equipped kitchen, but visited La Lunita and La Buena Vida for lunch and dinner, both highly recommended. We had a car and were able to explore sites nearby, but getting a shuttle from he airport and getting groceries delivered is also an option, which we hope to explore next time. The was no TV set in the condo we stayed in, which was welcome to us, but keep in mind if important. The sun rises and sunsets from a large windows facing the sea was a better sight. Will definitely come again and bring friends!

Wonderful location on Half Moon Bay. Spacious area, beautiful view, and extremely responsive staff. Kitchen area very nice and utensils supplied very adequate. Owner was most accommodating and replaced the AC unit in 24hrs after becoming nonfunctional.

The view was amazing! Condo was very clean and Conchi came in everyday and cleaned! Hector was great help with getting us a golf cart for the day. We will be back for sure!!

Property was awesome. Great views on 3rd floor with wide open views of the ocean. Easy access to Akumal by walking and plenty to eat for a week in town. Highly recommend

We had a lovely 4 nights here, with great snorkeling right out front. The kids enjoyed the small pools and seeing all the birds and geckos and iguanas. Having daily maid service seemed excessive until we remembered there’s no dishwasher. Don’t miss stargazing from the roof, and listening to the whistling wind in the evenings and mornings.

This rental is fabulous. It has the best view of the bay. It is one of the spots on half Moon Bay, where the Sargasm does not go. Each bedroom has a balcony, and there is a huge living area inside the front door. That is not part of the actual house, it was great to leave our swimwear towels and snorkel gear out there. There is also an outdoor table and area to hang out the windows overlooking half moon Bay open completely for large amounts of ocean breezes. The AC works great and the beds were firm. This is the second time we have stayed at La iguana and highly recommend it , Hector is great and the maids are wonderful -there are also two pools one on the garden side, and one on the ocean side that is partly under the building so people who want to be in the pool, but also be in the shade will enjoy this
