Waterfront Swedish-style Log Cabin on Sand Bay, Door County - Moonlight Magic

The property is right on the water so the views are beautiful. The bay was frozen over when we went so we didn't fish, but we got to see deer and geese walking across the lake. There's a seating area by a fire pit right by the lake where we spent a lot of time reading, having drinks, and taking in the view. The cabin had everything we needed from board games to S'Mores roasting skewers. Tons of seating so everyone was comfy. It was snowing our last two days so we played board games in front of the fireplace. The beds upstairs were comfortable. We took walks around the loop and everyone who lives out there was super friendly. The property owner checked on us to make sure we had everything we needed. It was one of the best holidays we've ever had.

This was the 7th time our group stayed here, and it was another fantastic visit. The host is very welcoming and always makes our stay go smoothly! The cottage is very well kept and the setting is perfect!

Everything was great! The only negative for me is I had hoped to go fishing right off the beach but water is way too shallow.

Cabin was cozy. Screen patio was a bit cluttered but all in all, perfect for our stay.

Beautiful cabin in a beautiful location. We enjoyed our stay very much, celebrating our wedding anniversary. She left us a lovely bottle of wine and a great selection of references for what to do in the area. Our only issue was there was no smart TV on the main floor, it was only in the bedroom, so we actually bought one so we could watch movies on the main floor so we could enjoy the fireplace as well.Thanks again Tammy!

A sweet traditional cottage on the water. Comfortable beds, very quiet and an easy drive to the town. We would stay again.

I celebrated a milestone birthday with family and this lived up to all my expectations. The cabin’s views are amazing. The inside was very clean and had everything we needed. The host, Tammy was very responsive with all my questions as I was preparing for the trip. Plus, the fact I could bring my dog, made it even more special. Thank you!

The cabin is perfect for unplugging and unwinding, but close enough to coffee shops, restaurants, and shopping in Sturgeon Bay. Our family loves this property!

We absolutely loved our stay. Our kids loved that they could fish and hang out in the water near the house. They loved riding the bikes that were provided. We had quite the fireworks show for 3 nights and never needed to leave the property. Our kids already asked when we can stay here again! Thank you so much!

Quiet location, beatiful scenic lake view. Loved watching the seagulls, ducks and pelicans in the bay.

This is an adorable little cabin right on the bay. It’s a rustic small cabin but well appointed with a full kitchen, a screened in porch a fire pit and charcoal grill and a lovely library of books! It was cozy and comfortable. Very clean and tidy. Owner Tammy was very responsive and answered all of our questions.

It was such a great stay! We had a quiet getaway weekend and this was just the thing! We came in the off season, which was our fault for it being SO quiet, but 5 stars all the way.

Cabin is perfect for our group

This was a wonderful weekend and the perfect getaway from the busy holiday season. We were able to walk around the neighborhood, sit inside by the fire, and watch our favorite holiday movie. The location is far enough from the busier areas of Door County, but close enough to drive into Egg Harbor, Fish Creek, and Sister Bay. We would definitely recommend this to friends.

This was our second year staying here and will definitely come back again. The home is very comfortable, the view spectacular and it is so peaceful! A great place to escape from the business of life and take a breath.

We highly enjoyed staying at Moonlight Magic again. Being right on the water in a quiet area is perfect for relaxing. Sturgeon Bay is just minutes away so coffee, dining, and other amenities are nearby. We take advantage of the kitchen and grill to cook at the cabin. We'll definitely be back!

This cabin is well organized, comfy, and the access to Green Bay is great for Kayaking, Fishing, and the like.

Enjoy the view and proximity to lots of destinations and sights. Excellent restaurants and the lighthouse trolley tour was A+ Host very responsive and even is mailing slippers I left

This house was perfect for my sisters bachelorette weekend! Great location for events that we attended in door county. We also got great use out of the property hanging by the fire pit & dipping in the water. There was enough sleeping room for all of us girls & it worked out that the beds are upstairs so that some girls could go to sleep when they wanted & not be disturbed. Even though it was only one bathroom it worked out & was spacious. This house was super cute & updated & had everything we needed! Would absolutely stay again! Also Tammy was so responsive with any questions we had! Thank you so much!

Beach/shoreline was less than desirable, very slinky and unmaintained and dock was full of gull/pelican debris. Cabin and views were wounderful and a very nice location and the fire pit was enjoyable.

This property has the most beautiful view. We loved watching the pelicans and egrets. The sunrises were amazing every morning.

We loved our recent stay at this cabin. We went to Door County with some friends to celebrate our anniversary. We appreciated the note and wine waiting for us! The cabin is in an extremely quiet area. It felt safe and had everything thing we needed. We would definitely stay here again! It was very relaxing with beautiful views!
