Beautiful, private house with an amazing view of Lake Michigan from the deck. Big open plan living room/dining room/kitchen which is great for relaxing and hanging out with friends and family.

The view was serene and very beautiful, the beds were very comfortable and the layout was open and easy to relax and spend time together talking. We appreciated the easy check-in-checkout process and the stocked supplies in the kitchen too! We watched a family of deer across the meadow grazing! We would definitely come back.

The house had everything we needed from utensils, to space, to the amazing views. Nice to get away from the hustle and bustle of door county for the evening after exploring all day. Very clean and accommodating home. Would stay again!

Our family of 6 adults had plenty of room to enjoyed the cabin inside and out.Seclusion in the trees gave us peace and quiet. We watched ships coming in and out through binoculars from the deck. Coffee every morning watching the sun come up over the lake. We had an abundance of wildlife, Eagles, an Owl, other birds in the beautiful trees surrounding the cabin, deer, red squirrels, turkeys, coyotes you could hear at night calling, a porcupine actually came up on the deck and went back into the woods. The stars at night were amazing. I actually say a shooting star from the living room windows. We flew kites in the huge yard, played lawn games, basketball, played Frisbee, went biking, kayaking, hiking - land trust preserve just down the road, fishing, and of course the markets, wineries, apples and festivals and food along the peninsula.we also loved the warmth of the fire pit at night. The cabin is truly a gem. Loved every minute we had there.

The property is exceptionally clean, cozy, and well back from the main road. There is a beautiful hilltop view of the lake. There is plenty of room for a medium-sized family with comfy beds, great amenities, and even some skylights. It is an absolutely charming and comfortable place to spend a relaxing vacation.

Plenty of room to sleep, comfy beds and overall cleanliness of the place was great. There were a few broken screens that needed repair but we had air on so didn’t need the screens.

Property is beautiful and beds are comfortable. Could use more seating (e.g., number of dining chairs should match the number of bed spaces), same with plates and outdoor seating.

Not your typical cabin in the woods. We needed a large place to meet up with family and reconnect. This home was large enough that we were able to have a number of activities going on at once with out feeling like we were climbing over each other. Mealtimes were a delight in this well appointed kitchen... And afternoons and evenings on the deck over looking the lake with a crackling fire in the fire pit was really a delight. Comfortable beds with plenty of extra pillows and blankets for the cool evenings. The walking shower was a treat! The only disappointment was the fireplace is not a fireplace, it is a winter heating stove so we were not able to use it All in all, this was the perfect place to spend a week with family, I don't think I have ever felt so relaxed at the end of vacation before and I have been coming to Door County for 40+ years.
