Stayed Nov 26, 2025We absolutely loved the cabin! Miley and Bear were a huge hit with all us. We loved them. The cabin was better than I imagined. Would love to pick it up and move it to South Carolina. Will definitely be back.

Stayed Nov 5, 2025Cute cabin in a nice area! The property was beautiful and peaceful with some surprise visits from the neighborhood pups and chickens which was a lot of fun! The fireplace was great for the chilly nights. Everything was comfy and cozy, exactly what we were looking for!

Stayed Jul 3, 2024This place is perfectly situated to lots of places and falls and trails and the parkway. The cabin is what we expected to be in the mountains. The only draw back was there is a huge house that it is nestled back on and i believe the swimming pont is common area and we had some very rude people ask us what we were doing but once they understood that we rented the cabin on the property they huffed away. There is also river access on the property that was very nice. We spemt the while day on the property and had a great time between the swimming hole and the river. House is well equiped but i do recommend bringing paper plates and cups as the ones provided seemd more like fine china.

Stayed Jun 24, 2023We have stayed at the East Fork Ranch previously, though this was our first time at the Graves Cabin. Previously, there was the main lodge and then two rustic cabins next door, of which one was the Graves cabin. Since our last stay, the cabin between the lodge and Graves cabin burned down, and it is currently being replaced with a large modern home. The Graves cabin management was very upfront about this, but we believe the construction of the new house will really change the rental experience for both the main lodge and the Graves cabin. In the short term, the construction at the new house leaves limited parking and problems of access. In the long term, the new house 10' away from the Graves cabin, and blocks the view of both the lodge and much of the scenic area. The cabin itself is very nice, but the experience is no longer as magical as it once was.

Stayed Nov 2, 2022Our family of 5 (including three young children) really enjoyed our stay at the Graves Cabin. It was clean, cozy, and comfortable. The owner and property manager were very friendly and helpful; I never had any trouble getting in contact with either. The cabin itself is situated on a ranch in a valley with several fields and about three ponds, all of which you have access to check out. There is plenty for a family with young children to do including exploring, fishing, enjoying the fire pit, etc. We had a great time! However, as the description states, there is construction under way right next door as of Fall 2022 (and it looks months away from completion). It really did not cause a major issue for us, but it's there and detracts from the ambience, if you will. Construction or not, if you are looking for a secluded getaway, this is probably not the place for you. There are a few rentals and permanent residents nearby that greatly limit how secluded you can feel. Lastly, in the cabin itself, accessing the loft / bunk space will not be easy for anyone who cannot climb a vertical ladder and fit through a roughly 2.5 ft x 2.5 ft access point. Great for kids, not so much for large or physically limited adults. The only reason this property didn't get 5 stars from us is because of the construction, which I hope is understandable. This property definitely merits your consideration!

Stayed Sep 2, 2022The positives are that the inside of the house is very pleasant and clean and functional. The decor is nice and well maintained. Although, make sure you know that it is very small. The loft ladder is exactly 90* degree straight vertical climb with a small opening at the top just be aware if you are planning for adults to use that area. This is the review that may seem negative but I feel results from a misleading description in the advertised listing: While there was a mentioning of construction in process next door, it turns out the construction is essentially attached to this property. I just want potential renters to be aware: you are staying on a job site. There is makeshift walkway of 2x10 boards nailed together to make your way up to the porch and construction debris and supplies piled up everywhere around where you park and in the yard of Graves Cabin. Parking pad is covered in red clay and mud. Extension cords and PVC pipe and orange caution temporary fencing is wrapping the whole side of the property. You are also not secluded at all. You are situated in between two other properties one seemed to be a permanent residence and the other a very large rental. You will hear highway traffic to your left and all parties and yelling/conversations from the large rental to the right if you are on your porch. Some may be perfectly fine with this, just make sure you are aware what you are paying for. Not trying to run the property down at all, simply leaving an accurate review of my three days at this property.

Stayed Jul 25, 2022The outside is very run down looking. Our first impression was, uh-oh! The inside was very cute, charming, I'd say. The furniture is dated and not very comfortable but we didn't spend a whole lot of time there as we were out hiking and exploring most of the time. The breakfast nook was, by far, my favorite area in the cabin. The bedroom upstairs is tricky. The ladder is built into the wall and goes straight up. It was awkward but doable for most. Bigger people might have a harder time. My over-active safety mind was also concerned about the exit from there if there was an emergency/fire. I'm not sure it would be the easiest.
