We were at the Eagle cabin in March of 2021. It was very beautiful!! There were rolling hills, wild life, etc.... We saw a rabbit and a large amount of deer! It was awesome!!!!
We enjoyed our stay. Property is secluded and has great views of the surrounding mountains and meadow.
Very nice cabin...it very clean and they had everything I needed..When they say all you need is food. THATS TRUE!!! The location was very calm and spacious. I'll definitely be back in the warmer months. It snowed so we had to check out early.
This is a fantastic place for a cozy, couples weekend. A place where you can totally disconnect and enjoy some peace and quiet. The cabin was clean and well cared for, the property well maintained. As I grilled steaks, my wife enjoyed the porch swing and the great view. From there, we tried out the oversized jacuzzi tub (amazing!) before building a fire in the fireplace and relaxing the rest of the evening. The next day was spent between taking our dogs along the walking paths, relaxing on the porch swing and doing absolutely nothing. It was great! Didn't see much wildlife other than one armadillo and a rather large bald eagle that landed in the front yard each morning and just hung out for a bit. All in all, we had a great time and look forward to going back very soon. We definitely plan to stay longer next time.
The check in process was seamless and efficient. The property and cabin were beautifully maintained and pristine. We were looking for a cabin to simply spend time in between our hiking trips at Beavers Bend, but we got so much more! We ending up spending for time here than we did hiking! Out of the numerous cabins we have rented over the years, this was by far and away the best. As an aside, with minimal light pollution the view of the stars at night rival any you’d likely find elsewhere.
The cabin was beautiful. So sad it rained the whole time we were there, but we sure enjoyed it anyway. Only thing I wish, was that the firewood was brought inside for the clients during winter. We had to go find dry wood in order to have a fire. But all in all I give this cabin 5 🌟.
We had a wonderful stay!! The cabin is cute & cozy! Love the front porch! Saw lots of deer & a coyote. Beautiful sunrise! Its a little bit of a drive. The dirt road going to the cabin goes through a little scary area but when you go through that second gate the landscape is absolutely beautiful!!!
Really enjoyed disconnecting from the busy life
Loved this property. So pretty. Very peaceful. Will definitely be back.
We had a very nice stay. Beautiful cabin and beautiful area. I would change the name to Lady Bug Cabin because I've never seen so many Lady bugs before in my life ♥️
We had a wonderful time and everything was just perfect! We were celebrating our 30th Wedding Anniversary & hope to come back again!
We will be back! This was such a quiet relaxing get away!!
The property was a dream! My immediate family stayed here for a weekend and it was very relaxing. There was no wifi or cell service but the instructions on how to get to the house by the host were simple and easy to understand. The house was squeaky clean and had access to private trails. Loved the area, stars at night, and sunrise on the porch.
Beautiful property. We lost ourselves in the quiet and beauty of the scenery. My goal is to retire in this part of the state and live somewhere like this!
If you are looking to stay in a cabin with neighbors everywhere; This cabin is not for you! No internet, No traffic, 1 neighbor 100 yards away, beautiful scenery, and plenty of trails to walk around this beautiful property. We will be staying here again in the future.
Had a great time!
Beautiful cabin and a lovely piece of property, well maintained and groomed. The trails are the greatest touch! The host has everything needed and in working order. Checkin/out is a breeze. I drive a Mini Cooper and we got down the roads with no issue at all and it was raining the first two days, so any vehicle can make it to this property.
We enjoyed our stay. It was nice and clean. A very comfortable place to stay.
Excellent environment to be closer to a balanced stress free life. Excellent facilities with all you need to enjoy nature. Recommend outdoor hot tub and better insect control in the back porch. We couldn't use it. The trail was an excellent feature. Thank you Trent!
Excellent! We would come back except next time we'd like to get closer to Broken Bow. If that was not a factor, we'd be back in a heartbeat.
Enjoyed the stay, views and semi-secluded feel. There are 2 cabins in the property, but far enough to have some sort of privacy. Would be great place to rent both cabins with extended family and make it a fully secluded stay. We were able to also enjoy a trail within property, walked and biked it.
Easy process and transaction
this was a great get away from the city life. I would definitely go back!
I suppose I wasn't sure what to expect, so I walked in amazed from the start. There are dishes, a coffee maker, coffee, a charcoal grill, towels, a fire pit out back, linens on the beds, nice beds, some movies, an efficient air conditioner, and extra blankets and pillows. Out of almost every window, there is a distant mountain in view. The front and back porch each have four patio chairs in addition to the front porch swing, to take in the view. The yard is very well maintained. We stayed in July, and the fireflies were out each evening and were absolute magic. Deer were also often visible from the porch. There are trails that are mowed and very well kept throughout the property. I HIGHLY encourage spending time to explore these. Some of my favorite pictures from our vacation were taken on these trails. Know that the environment is such that you may want to spray yourself with bug spray, as any lush country environment naturally is. The location of the cabin is an approximate thirty minute drive north of Broken Bow, and the nearest large grocery store is a good drive away. Plan accordingly. Simple supplies are available at the nearby CJs Corner Store, as well as at the Dollar General not far south on 259. If you have a particular taste in beer or wine, I would pack them in with you from where you know you can get them. If you travel to this area while COVID is still an issue, know that some local stores will be short on many selections of random supplies. Know that traveling in to the cabin is not incredibly easy to navigate the first time, and I'd recommend arriving for check-in while it is daylight for ease of navigation. There is another cabin on the property, maybe fifty yards from the cabin, but it is situated to where you cannot see it out of the windows nor from the porch. It felt like we were the only people on the place almost the entire time we were there. We are planning a trip for next year, and will most likely come back to this cabin in particular. We loved it so much that we researched some land bordering this property that is for sale. 10 of 10, would suggest. ❤️
Loved Broken Bow!
Our stay was nothing short of amazing. Will be visiting again...love it!!
The Eagle was the perfect mix of seclusion with the closeness to Hochatown/Beavers Bend/Broken Bow. The property was awesome, just make sure your vehicle can off road okay as it’s a pretty long gravel/dirt road. The view from the front porch is breathtaking. Perfect cabin for families who want to just play in the woods and be in nature.
My family had the perfect weekend exploring, riding the trails, and just relaxing. We enjoyed being unplugged, and away from the stresses of life. The added bonus was we were able to watch a fantastic firework show from the front porch. We will be back.
It was an excellent cabin, very well maintained and clean
Cabin was beautiful and clean, had a wonderful time walking the trails and swinging on the porch swing! Only thing is we wish we had a fly swatter lol
The cabin was very quaint and clean. Remote location which was nice great trails behind the house wonderful stay
Very good experience
I really good stay. If you do not mind being out and away from everything. There is no phone service, internet, or tv. The one part. We used was so bad it ruined our breakfast. Something must have been fried in it and ruined the pan, but were unable to tell until black flakes started getting in everything. Even after giving it a deep clean we could not tell if it would be good. Our fault we did not know how for it was to the state park from the cabin.
I was expecting a cabin nestled in the woods but when I got there it was perched on the edge of a 5 acre medow. There is also another cabin about 200 yards away. It wasn’t bad at all, it just wasn’t what I was expecting.
They just need to check master bedroom. We killed about 20 wasps.still was there . We couldn’t find where they come from.
This was such a nice and quaint secluded cabin. We even had some wasps and the manager came out and helped us to get it taken care of! We loved our stay in this cabin!
