Beautiful accommodations.

Exceptionally clean and beautiful lakeside cabin. Beds were very comfortable, kitchen had all essentials, plenty of extra chairs, several extra blankets, and spectacular views. We couldn’t have asked for anything more. It is obvious that this cabin was loved and cared for. We were wishing the walls could talk because there are feelings of love, joy and family present throughout this cabin. WIFI was spotty. But, that was disclosed in advance. Everything was as promised in the listing. We loved our time here!

Wonderful location, quiet and beautiful view of the lake. Many wonderful memories made. Shower was small, and need plastic wrap, tinfoil, or tupperware containers. Also having access to a broom or vacuum would be nice especially if your brining the kids.

Very clean and cozy place for our stay in Door Cty. Would recommend this cabin to anyone wanting to tour Door Cty. Beautiful lake view as well.

Beautiful place to stay had a tremendous weekend

The cabin was exactly what we wanted! Cozy and perfect for our family of four. Our kids loved the loft bedroom and the waterfront view was amazing. The house is also private with plenty of tall trees and bushes on either side. Kitchen has all the pots, pans, cooking utensils, and dishware. Do need to bring all your own spices, ziplock bags, aluminum foil etc. Another guest had commented on pillows being flat but we found them to be fine. There’s also plenty of extra blankets provided. Highly recommend this rental!

This is a lovely quaint property in a great location. It was very clean and we had all the essentials we needed. We really loved the proximity to the lake, we could walk out a long way in the water. The fire pit and grill were a plus. The only negative was the large number of shells built near the lake, make sure to bring water shoes.

Overall we had a fantastic stay! The cabin has an amazing view, and we loved the screened in porch and the quiet evenings watching the sunset! I would stay here again, but I would bring my own pillow, because the pillows were very flat. There were bugs in the cabin, but that’s to be expected. There were no extras, so bring spices, foil, tissues. Ice, or any other items you require. They did include coffee filters, hand/dish soap and paper products and all the necessary kitchen items were there. If you want gorgeous views, and are ok with a rough cabin this is the place!

Stayed three nights. Really enjoyed the sunsets. Gnats are bad in the yard, but better down on the beach. No sand on the beach, but limestone shelves in the lake to put a lawn chair on and have a few drinks. Bring water shoes as the shore has lots of broken shells and sharp rocks. Location is nice and quiet. Easy to get to the rest of the peninsula. If you're cooking onsite, you'll need spices and other aids. Ladder up to the loft room is for lighter young people. Getting gear up is a challenge. Overall, very nice.

Very cute cabin. Owner was responsive and helpful.

The setting is right on the water and peaceful. Many amenities made for a carefree stay. The sleeping loft climb might be a challenge for older folks. Although somewhat south of the peninsula proper we found this location completely convenient to everything in Door including Washington Island, and there are neat places in Sturgeon Bay. Would recommend.

Cabin was very cozy. Inside or outside nothing but relaxing and the view was very pleasant and peaceful.

We stayed here for the second time in two years and continue to love the location and cosines of the cabin. It’s very clean and well-kept. Just 15 minutes from Sturgeon Bay and 45 minutes from Egg Harbor and Fish Creek. The lake view is what we enjoy a lot, as well as building a fire in the fireplace. Easy in, easy out. This is a wonderful place to get away from it all.

Cabin and facilities were exactly as described. Loved the peaceful location and wonderful seating near the water. Lots of wildlife. WiFi was spotty but not a huge problem.

The cabin was clean and a great size for our needs. Location in a small residential community with a local resident to walk to was wonderful. Bay front was super peaceful. Cabin was clean. We didn't really use the loft bed, as it was a little sketchy for the young kids to get up and down the ladder and not the most comfortable for adults. But definitely a cool spot. If you plan to do any cooking, be sure to bring all ingredients you'll need (including any butter/oil, salt, etc.).

Beautiful location, comfortable beds, easy to get to lots of different places in Door County.

Charming vintage cabin. Loved launching my kayak from the backyard. My husband and I bought wine from a local winery and had a glass of wine on our anniversary while watching the sunset. A few minor negatives: The feeling in the cabin is very minimalistic, meaning, there are no conveniences for the kitchen or bath, no spices or cooking oil, no shampoo, no plastic wrap, no firewood, just salt. Some of the furniture, having seen many visitors, just needs to be replaced. Beds are OK. However, we still had a great time, and this cabin is fairly close to local attractions.

Great Time,

This classic Door County cabin was just about perfect for our family getaway. We enjoyed a beautiful bay view and spent a few rainy days relaxing on the porch. Although not entirely secluded, the cabin offered enough privacy to feel comfortable and cozy. It was clean and well-cared for, spacious enough for the whole family, and had just enough amenities that we didn't find ourselves lacking much. However, note that there is essentially zero cellular service here. We had only one bar on both AT&T and T-Mobile, and not enough bandwidth to connect most of the time. This wasn't a problem for us, but if you’re planning on working from here, that's probably not going to happen. Bring some DVDs if you’re planning on watching movies, because streaming services like Netflix are not an option.
