Walk to Dtwn Shops & Eats: Sturgeon Bay Retreat

Lovely home, great for 2 people!! Amenities were awesome; including a table top fan & sleep machine in the bedroom to name a few. Our only issue was the entry door required significant pushing to get in. A little further from downtown than I expected but I would still recommend staying here!!

Great location. Very clean.

Overall pretty good. The bathroom was very small and the shower could be upgraded. The shower also did not really drain.

Already sent an email with concerns . . . refrigerator did not work, tub inaccessible, stair railing difficult to access (needed due to knee issues). Lots of good stuff to say about this unit, but definitely needs to TLC

The place was comfortable, attractive and clean. Very nice.

What I liked: Good location, close to historic homes, old downtown and artsy outdoor coffee/ breakfast spot. The home decor is extremely cute and creative!Things to note: front of home (which is a multi unit) faces busy street so there is street noise in AM, bathroom is cute but extremely small, and laundry is not in your unit.

We enjoyed our stay. We used the bedroom bed and sofa bed and both were very comfortable. Cozy and comfortable place. The small side deck was nice for evening drinks. One point that many would want to know is that the shower/tub requires a high step to get in. It’s an old fashion tub. Just a short walk to a lovely downtown. We enjoyed Kick Coffee every morning for coffee and breakfast.

Nice place in a good location

I spent most of my time with family, size & accommodation was perfect for me. Close to a coffee cafe for breakfast & downtown area. All walkable. Tub was a cute old fashioned tub with shower attachment. Bed queen sized and comfortable mattress. Clean. Was greeted with a bottle of wine from Door County & there was also coffee provided.I plan to use again in the future when I visit family.

Perfect for my needs. Comfortable bed. Small old fashioned tub, but had a shower attachment. It is high tub to step into. But I managed. Complimentary Door Cty wine & coffee pkg. Location great. Within walking distance to an excellent coffee/cafe shop.

The property was very clean, comfy and cozy. There’s a nice little wine bar less than a block away that was super nice to walk to. Would highly recommend for any short trip especially with the girls.

Unit was very clean and comfortable. We liked the decor and all the details like access to electronic charging stations in the bedroom. The local coffee and wine left for us was a nice touch. The location was perfect. The claw foot tub in the bathroom was cute, but I would have preferred a walk-in shower.

The apartment is cute and well decorated. The location is excellent and close to downtown Sturgeon Bay. The biggest downside is the property is managed by some big property investment company called Evolve. It's one thing to rent Bob and Cindy's Lakeside Cottage, but its altogether different to rent from a faceless corporation. Also the fees attached to the rental nearly doubled to price, which is ridiculous.

We loved our time in Door County! The place we stayed was perfect size for what we needed. Clean and cute!

Convenient to down town Sturgeon Bay. Easy access once we figured out which unit was ours. Plenty of space in parking lot. Would suggest noting in description on VRBO site that washer n dryer are community not in the apartment. Also defrosting freezer as it was so full of ice that we couldn’t fit our ice packs in there. The claw foot tub is quaint but not easy to get in and out of. After one shower the tub wouldn’t drain and there was standing water in the tub. My husband used a utensil to pull out long gobs of hair to get drain unclogged. Reasonable priced but don’t think we’d book again.

Super easy stay. Clean, and the location is awesome for walking downtown Sturgeon Bay and it also serves as a good starting point to explore the peninsula.

Quiet, clean. Everything we needed to recharge after exploring Door County all day!

So close to downtown and our favorite coffee shop. The place had all of the charm and the bed was super comfy!

My sister & I had a great stay! Easy check-in and check-out process. The apt was cute and comfortable with all the necessities. Close to downtown Sturgeon Bay and not too far from the rest of Door County. We liked the space heater/electric fire place for the chilly nights. Thanks for the welcome gift of local wine! It was delicious!
