What a wonderful hidden treasure! Helen ensured that check in/check out was a breeze. The unit had all the comforts of home and beautiful details throughout. The grounds are absolutely gorgeous. It’s private and just country enough while still being close to all Door County has to offer. We are already planning our next adventure and can’t wait to come back. Very clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed the setting, ease of access, large deck, and the abundance of wildlife. The hostess was readily available and most gracious. We had an excellent time.

Property is beautiful. We enjoyed sitting outside on the deck and using the fire pit. Nice location to get to Sturgeon Bay and other areas of Door County.

Very comfortable stay, loved watching the birds on the feeders! We were there on a work trip so didn’t have a lot of time to explore, but it was a great stay and the host was wonderful.

Helen was so kind to accommodate us last minute and share her beautiful home. Absolutely beautiful property, surrounded by nature and wildlife. Very comfortable, quiet, and relaxing atmosphere. As a bonus, we enjoyed seeing some of Helen’s stunning artwork!

A fun time in Door County!

Overall the site and house fine, comfortable, and easy to locate. There are a couple of things that could be improved:1. Access to the house from the parking are is a challenge for people with mobility issues.2. Control of the ventilation system was upstairs with the owner.Other than those two things our time there was enjoyable and co for table.

Beautiful location. Easy check in. I did not see in the listing that you are unable to control the thermostat but have to text the owner to change the thermostat. It was quite cool in the unit. The owner was responsive when contacted to make the change. The thermostat was set at 62 which seems a bit cool when expecting guests. Otherwise- it was great!

We came to show our foreign exchange student Door County and it didn’t disappoint. The colors and weather were perfect. We had such a fantastic girls weekend!!

I’ve been visiting DC annually for about 6-7 years during the summer and finally made the leap to visit during fall to see the color. During our stay the weather turned rainy, cold and windy one day so we stayed in and played board games and card games all day. The large table easily accommodated all four of us. The space is very roomy and comfy so we never felt crowded. The electric stove really surprised me by how quickly the oven heated up when we heated up snacks during our game day. The wifi was awesome even with all four of us streaming at times. The grounds are just what I wanted, rural but not isolated. We met 3 out door kitties and a chicken while walking the grounds. There are extra touches like puzzles, some toiletries, and decor that were the cherry on top of a great weekend. Highly recommend.

The house was a cute and very clean. Would definitely recommend to others and would stay again!

Very nice place, very spacious. Check in process was so simple. We did run into host when we got there. She was friendly and said if we needed anything just let her know. Will definitely come back again!!

We enjoyed this cozy VRBO which was close to many of the things that we wanted to do. We were able to enjoy Sturgeon Bay downtown area, the farmer's market, and visit many of the surrounding wineries.
