From the moment we decided on Carvoeiro as our family vacation spot in the Algarve booking Rory and Jane's property was an absolute breeze! Rory was always available during the process and makes for a wonderful host! The condo is in a great location of the complex and walking distance to town. We found the two bedrooms and two bathrooms perfect for our family! The shared spaces(living room/dining room) are large and spacious, with comfy furniture and tv with multiple multi language channels. We loved the large patio that was just steps away from the pool (the complex has many pools to use) The condo had all the comforts of home! We loved the addition of beach and pool towels, along with beach accessories! Rory was a short distance away so he was easily available for anything we needed. We already know we will book again in the future! Thank you for a wonderful stay, we were sad to leave! Cheers, Nicole and Tony

Really nice apartment which had everything we needed for a great week in Carvoeiro. A short walk into town and to the beach and plenty of things to do/see a short drive away.

This year within the current situation of the Covid-19 pandemic until July 2020 it was not clear if we would been able to spend our holidays in Portugal in August (as originally being booked in January). Luckily the travel restrictions to Portugal were released early enough and completely for August and September. Because of our outstanding experience the year before with our first stay in the holiday apartment of Jane and Rory, it had been obvious for us to book it again for our second stay in Portugal. We were more than happy with our decision. It was a very warm and friendly welcome. The apartment was well prepared. One room was surprisingly new decorated and equipped. All in all, this created a real welcome atmosphere from the beginning. A lot of little useful and unexpected tools and accessories were part of the standard equipment e.g. mosquito spray, a little notepad and even little disinfection dispenser. Also, a lot of insider tips where to go could be found in a well prepared folder. In addition to that further and latest updates of nice restaurants and places to be tried and visited were verbally provided by Jane and Rory. According to our previous experiences with different accommodations not real obvious things. We enjoyed every minute of our stay in Portugal and Carvoeiro. Taking this year’s exceptional circumstances into account, our booking decision for the apartment of Jane and Rory and all their personal support were the key elements for an exceptional holiday feeling and an active rest. Honestly something that we were not really expecting this year- thank you so much! Next time when we travel to Portugal and the Algarve Jane's and Rory's holiday apartment is going to be our first and preferred choice.

Rory was a very helpful and informative host. The special treats and staple items left for our use was very much appreciated! His property was very comfortable and felt like home. Very clean and nicely decorated. Perfect location for a 6 minute walk to the heart of Carvoerio. Would definately recommend. We would return to this location.

This apartment was exactly as advertised and the owners were extremely helpful and accommodating. From beginning to end was great. We received a warm welcome, including a welcome package of food (including bread, water, fruit, beer and wine) which was much appreciated after traveling with kids! They also provided a very well arranged binder with a lot of information regarding Carvoeiro and the surrounding area. On slower mornings for us adults the kids loved that they had access to KIKA shows that they normally watch at home. The pool was always clean and the surrounding neighbors were all friendly. The location is great as it is within walking distance to everything you could need, but far enough away from the nightly scene in the town center. We also played tennis on the available courts which was great.

Our holiday home was perfect for us and we really enjoyed our stay. - All rooms nicely decorated, proper and prepared, - the kitchen staffed with the right and enough equipment ( e.g. dishwasher...), - a detailed and well prepared folder with lots of information about the location, where to go for eating, all different kind of sight seeing tours, interesting areas... When we arrived the first day the fridge was already equipped with a basic selection of good food and beverages. For us a charming surprise! During our whole stay Jane and Rory were very pleasant hosts. On top of this Rory personally gave us tips for nice destinations near by but also useful hints for daily shopping possibilities ( e.g. where to find an excellent bakery, location of the supermarkets). Those information helped us a lot getting familiar with the local Portuguese environment in a very fast way. It was a deeply relaxing holiday period in a beautiful country. Looking back we regret that we could not stay longer but we will definitely come back again. Thank you for that!

Rory and Jane were fantastic hosts. On arrival, they supplied us with a superb array of groceries and were very informative on what to do in Carvoeiro. The apartment was spacious and within walking distance from all the amenities. The beds were extremely comfortable, the 2 showers were handy so there's no waiting around when getting ready to go out and the washing machine meant that we didn't have a huge amount to do when we arrived home! All in all the apartment was great and so were the hosts. I would definitely return. Thanks for a fab stay, Stuart, Angie & Cameron
