My family and I stayed at the Turret House for our summer vacation and we were absolutely delighted with our choice! The apartment was immaculate and beautifully furnished, and even more spacious than the pictures. The beds and linens were very nice quality, kitchen was large and well equipped, and we loved the balcony for sitting after a long day of sightseeing. We really appreciated having Trader Joe’s just a couple blocks away (great food market), though we also ate out at number of the restaurants in the area. Capitol Hill has an amazing variety of restaurants of all types and there are lots of lively bars and cafes within a few blocks of the apartment. There is a bus stop one block away where we caught the bus to downtown and the Pike Place Market area. We had a rental car but almost never used it because it was so easy to get everywhere. The owner William was very friendly and accommodating, and the check in procedure was clear and simple with the keyless entry. We will definitely stay again at the Turret House when we return to Seattle! Sara Hofman, Ferndale Michigan

We stayed at the Seattle Turret House with another couple and it was a perfect setting for our Seattle trip. Close to great restaurants (try Zoe!) and bars, and we got groceries at Trader Joe's and the local Co-op market just blocks away. All the Seattle sights like the Art Museum, Space Needle, and the aquarium were either a short walk or bus ride away. We used Lyft a couple times, too, which was easy. The apartment is immaculate, has a lot of charm and character (more than any hotel!). William was a breeze to work with. Beds were comfy, the views were spectacular, and the neighborhood felt safe and quiet. Parking in the driveway was a nice bonus. We looked at a lot of pairs of hotel rooms, and this was by far the best deal.

Ambient, modern, charming apartment within minutes of downtown

My husband and I stayed on the third-floor #5 apartment 8/11 thru 8/13/14 with our 12- and 14-yr olds. We loved it--it was perfect for us! The modern, tastefully-appointed apartment is flooded with natural light from large, strategically placed skylights that take in the view of the city. We've found that eating "out" while traveling as a family gets old and unhealthy, so it was great to have a Trader Joe's so close (a few blocks away) and a fully-stocked, modern, impeccably clean kitchen. The four of us dined on the patio most mornings and evenings. Having a washer and dryer makes traveling with a family so much more convenient! NOTE: If your visit falls on a hot summer day, you will enjoy your visit more if you come with proper expectations. Your bedrooms will be deliciously cool, even cold if you like, due to the swamp coolers. However, the apartment at large might climb into the 90s during the day, as the screened windows are permanently blocked open during the summer. 8/11 was a 92-degree day and the apartment reached the mid-90s. Not a big deal for us...we just ate out on the patio and we were gone during the worse heat of the day. Sleeping in the cold bedrooms was ideal. We would be very happy to book the Seattle Turret House again and highly recommend it to others.

Had a couple of minor problems and William came and helped immediately. Very happy with location and the view of the city. Would recommend to friends.
