Stayed Dec 26, 2025This place has everything you need for a family getaway, The kitchen allowed us to cook together, and the balcony was a lovely spot to unwind, The nearby lake is a short drive away, perfect for a swim on a hot day!

Stayed Aug 11, 2023Great base to explore the black forest. Lots to do for teenagers and adults alike. Lovely house in a peaceful setting. It was very hot when we were there so only feedback would be for fans in the house as it was very warm inside. Unable to open windows at night due to black forest midges which ate us the first night we did so ?

Stayed Jun 17, 2023Good size and good location. Limited interaction with hosts. 2 levels of steep stairs might be a problem for older or mobility challenged people. Towels were plentiful but not soft.

Stayed Apr 23, 2023Our stay in this apartment was very pleasant. The interior is very spacious and fairly modern. Everything needed is there and worked well during our stay. The apartment is located above a restaurant, which is well visited, but you will not notice it in the house. The location in a wooded area is very quiet. It is also a good base for exploring the area. It is close to France and Switzerland, so that visits to Basel, Colmar and Strasbourg are also possible.

Stayed Sep 20, 20165+stars here folks. Our apartment had a balcony to enjoy the night sky, fresh at and to delight in observing the farm animals. The grounds afforded relaxing hiking opportunities. Freiberg was a short drive. The restaurant downstairs was very popular and the traditional German faire

Stayed Apr 22, 2016beautiful place in the countryside, close to the city (only ten minute driving). fit for family with children, rooms very clean, big and confortable, there's a baby chair and a babybed, there's all you need for cooking. The hosts are very kind and helpfull, there's a little restaurant behind. it's a quite and silent place in the forest, suitable for sportive people who want go walking or biking in paths.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969The house was one of the best we stayed in all our trips. Large and comfortable. Placed in the middle of the forest. The view around is amazing! It will be graet if a wifi service will be offered because of cellular 3G/4G problems in this area. Exapt this it is the best place you will have.
