Stayed May 31, 2024We loved our stay at BlauPause. A quiet part of town with impeccable eco-credentials, superb transport links and a friendly atmosphere. The flat is well-fitted, clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. Communication with Gabi was excellent and she gave us a warm & thorough welcome. We would stay here again!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Started with good communication with Gabi by email and SMS. Gabi & Thomas met us at the apartment and showed us around. The apartment is exactly as photographed, so clean and well maintained that we felt we were the first people ever to use the apartment. I was staying with my wife and teenage daughters, the girls had the bedroom, my wife and I slept on the most comfortable sofa bed I had ever slept on. Every type of kitchen utensil you could think of is in the drawers -really well equipped apartment with super fast internet. I decided to leave the car in the basement garage most of the time, the tram is 5 minutes walk from the apartment which takes you all over Freiburg (and to the station). We took the car into the Black Forest a couple of times and the train to Basel and the tram to the great cable car ride at the edge of town. In a week we just scratched the surface of the things to do in the area, we will be back to do the rest! Thank you Gabi & Thomas your apartment was wonderful.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We really enjoyed our stay in the blauPause apartment in Vauban, Freiburg. The neighborhood was lively, yet peaceful, so organic and natural, the people are friendly and helpful. The city of Freiburg also has a really nice atmosphere. The apartment itself is also lovely, with bright colors, which we really like. The comfort of the passive-house, the beautiful interior and the large balcony -with a nice view- make it a perfect holiday stay. Also the details like good cooking pots and utensils, everything you need is there. Although I think the world is too big to go somewhere twice, I'm sure we'll come back. Liesbeth + Frederik

Stayed Dec 31, 1969The apartment is new and rather spacious with a large balcony and a magnificent view on the mountains. It is well equipped with all necessary facilities. The apartment is situated in a very special ecologically advanced district, full of greenery. The owners are friendly and very helpful. The town center can be easily reached by tram, the tram stop is in 3 minutes walk. We really enjoyed our stay in Freiburg in BlauPause. We will recomend everybody to stay in this apartment. Thanks a lot from Russia, St. Petersburg.
