INSIDE

Living room
Very light and white and spacious with engineered laminate floor throughout - easy to clean and not too slippery for paws. There is a large leather sofa and footstool and whilst the idea of a large white leather sofa might worry some dog owners, this has been specifically chosen for its easy clean (wipeable) surface. (Tracie and Neil who own the house have dogs of their own and lots of experience so they do know what dog owners need). Dogs are welcome to join youon it as long as you can bring your own throws with you. The flat screen TV has Sky and there is good wifi here.

Kitchen
Very well fitted with enough seating for 4. There is everything you need here - washing machine, tumble drier, dishwasher, fridge, freezer with enough room for raw food supplies - don't forget our local Raw Dog Food Company deliver to all our properties for free. To cook on there is a hob and oven plus microwave, kettle and toaster and a filtered water tap too.

Ensuite bedroom
King size bed with plenty of storage and hanging space and another tv with Freeview for bedtime viewing. The ensuite bathroom has a bath with a shower over it plus a toilet, sink and bidet too.

OUTSIDE
When you arrive, pull in through the large metal (electric) gates and onto the gravel parking in front of the annexe. The main house is to the right and the annexe is in front of you. Parking is in front of the pallisade fencing. The courtyard area here is the outside area for the annexe. Astroturf grass means no muddy paws and there is a hose outside too for washing it down. The bbq is a really neat one with a detachable top so you can take it over to the table and chairs outside (seats 4). There are even a couple of loungers, a parasol and beach chairs for sitting out and enjoying the sunshine!

We had a lovely stay in this pretty and well equipped dog-friendly property. The owner was very friendly and helpful. We managed to time our arrival with Storm Amy blowing in, and were delighted that she had ensured the accommodation was toasty warm. Being Norfolk, the sun magically managed to put in an appearance each day. The stunning sandy beach was within walking distance, as was Happisburgh’s iconic lighthouse.

Lovely little cottage with everything we needed. Practical outdoor space for a sit down and the dogs to get out but under close control. Offroad walks a few metres from front door. Good location for beaches and to explore Norfolk. On-line info pack spot on and very simple booking.

We had a wonderful week in Edelweiss. Apart from the lovely accommodation, the first lovely surprise was the gorgeous welcome pack - the best we have had in all our cottage holidays. The weather was perfect and the beach was only a short walk away. Other beautiful beaches to explore nearby. We walked our dog after breakfast and spent the afternoons relaxing in the sunny garden. Our host Tracie made us very welcome and couldn't do enough for us. We will certainly be returning.

We had a lovely stay in the cottage. Primary reason for going away was to avoid fireworks, which was completely fulfilled. We had some great walks on the beach where our dog could run and play off lead. Excellent place for anyone with dogs.

Edelweiss was a gem, a haven. Lots of space, very comfortable and very dog friendly. Kitchen was well equipped and catered for all. Lovely box of treats on arrival, dog included. It was great to discover there was a farm track nearby to give access to the coastal path and in easy walking distance of Happisburgh lighthouse and Cart Gap. Tracie the owner was very friendly and always on hand for any needs. I really enjoyed my stay, even relaxing in the sunshine outside the cottage. I returned home refreshed, recharged and longing to return again.

We stayed for 3 nights and it was so relaxing Lovely quiet spot away from the hussel and bussel. Tracie, the owner was so welcoming and left humans and dogs some treats, we didn’t have to go out finding bread, milk, butter, tea and coffee. It was all provided, it was so relaxing knowing that our dogs were welcome too. We were so happy that in the evenings we could relax knowing the dogs were safe in a secure garden. Looking forward to staying again next year.

I had a lovely time at Edelweiss. Tracie was very helpful and left some wonderful gifts for my furbabies and me! The beaches are lovely and Bacton Wood was a great place to take the dogs for a walk in the shade. Thank you

A lovely place to stay. A beautiful cottage with easy access to many wonderful places for the dogs (and us) to walk. Exceptionally friendly and helpful host who was able to provide great advice on the local area. We greatly enjoyed our stay.

Our first visit to Happisburgh. Located in a quiet and ideal location for lovely beach walks. We walked miles every day on almost deserted sandy dog friendly beaches. The accommodation was lovely and perfect for doggy holidays. The bed was really comfortable and we both slept well. Our only thought was that the bathroom would benefit from modernising as it looked tired and dated.

Everything was was wonderful, the owner was reall kind and helpful. The only thing we can say to balance a wonderful stay is we had to drive to the nearest pub
