Stayed Jan 20, 2024Long stay - about 3 months. No Car. Great position for Beach with Monte Gordo tennis club a few minutes walk away with beach boardwalk and many restaurants. Local Municipal Market about same distance inland. Coviran small supermarket about 100yds with Mini Preceo and other supermarkets within easy walking distance. Railway station about a 20 min walk but gives you cheap access to towns along the Algarve from Lagos to Vila Real on Spanish border. Walk to Vila Real Santo Antonio to Lidl in about 40 mins through the national park dunes/woodland. Take a day trip on the Ferry across the Guadiana River to Ayamonte Spain! Nice walks west along beach or dunes/pine woodland to various bar/restaurants on beach and longer walks to Altura. Our host was very responsive and changed the butane gas tank immediately when the shower started getting cold one morning! 4 ring gas hob with oven and basic cooking utensils with a microwave and a Delta Coffee machine. Plenty of glasses for the wine and beer:) Smart TV to attach your prime/netflix account to. Good wifi. We will definitely see if the apt is available next time we come to Monte Gordo! Stayed Dec 31, 1969This is a wonderful apartment. A true home from home place to stay. It is tastefully decorated, spotlessly clean and is well equipped with everything that you could possibly need. It is close to the beach but in a quiet street. The owner, Armando, is extremely kind and friendly and goes out of his way to help you. I would not hesitate to stay here again and would recommend it to anyone for a wonderful holiday.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969WE enjoyed our holiday in the appartment we loved the atmosphere of the location in the fishing village and the friendliness of the peaple . The appartment was very comfortable and we were very weel looked after by Armando and his wife.
