It would be a 5 star, but they are stingy with supplies. We ran out of garbage sacks, shampoo and conditioner, and toilet paper. 1 and 1/2 rolls for 2 adults for 7 nights. It was hard to find toilet paper on foot.

A great, affordable option in a less-than-affordable area! I was in town for work, the property was just what I needed and the hosts were responsive. GREAT location, quiet. If you are going to spend a lot of time out of the apartment, this is the perfect choice.

Very well appointed unit. Studio apartment with fully equipped kitchen, comfortable couch and bed and TV with all cable stations. Quiet and safe neighborhood with lots of parking. 1 block from beach and one block from harbor. Close to Balboa pier and short drive to restaurants. Janet (owner) is very informative and easy. Always answers phone and texts and very accommodating. May just be our new home away from home.

The apartment was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. Communication with the host was easy and professional, and everything went smoothly from start to finish.

The unit was great! Fantastic location! We were able to walk to a little market for snacks and to the beach to watch the sunset. Great place to stay!!

Check in was easy. Kitchen was a full kitchen. Stocked well. Except for spices. Not enough tp. No box of tissues. No dish rags and only one dish towel. Not a big deal really. We bought tp. The unit has lots of storage. Bed very comfy. Really liked the outdoor area. Had a lovely breakfast out there. Used beach chairs and umbrellas.would stay here again. Would refer to friends too

Everything was very well stocked. The shower was a little small to be able to wash your feet. This unit did not have a garage to park in even though there were three empty garage spaces. That would’ve made it a lot better if we didn’t have to hunt for street parking.

We loved how access to the beach, the shops and the market were so close. Very quiet during our stay, we felt very safe here.

Studio apt was very well equipped!! Although we didn't use the kitchen much during our short stay, I was impressed with how well it is equipped!!! Instructions on the use of the apt were very clear & appreciated. The only suggestion is to put the outside address # in a place that can be seen from the street. When the patio umbrella is up, the address # is not visible from the street.

Clean, spacious, comfortable, had everything I needed, easy street parking, close to the water, great communication and clear instructions for access and cleanup. It was my second stay in a unit at this address and I will be back again :)

Very clean and near the beach

Great place for our weekend get away. Enjoyed the ease of parking which can be hard in a coastal town, great price and location nestled between the ocean and bay. Walkable to all the sites, restaurants and stores. Would stay again, as we plan on doing this trip yearly now.

First time here, won't be our last. Location was perfect. Front patio was delightful, with shade and garden-like atmosphere. Very clean and well maintained. The kitchen was well stocked.

Pros: communication/instructions. Flexible and accommodating owners. Extra TP and basic ammenities. Great water pressure in shower. Cons: tiny place. Had to Uber to most places for dinner etc.

The lighting above the bed would not stop flashing and the fan speed was so low, I couldn’t even feel it.

Perfect location, very clean and cozy. It is nestled right between Bay Street, which is a very high-end residential area (i.e. mansions galore) and the beach, which has a miles-long pathway and perfectly sandy beach that was not crowded when we were there in May. We felt very safe at this location and enjoyed sitting outside on the shared patio. The bed is super comfortable and we slept great. The couch is decent, I do wish the sitting area had been a little more comfortable. Everything was very clean and well-stocked. It was nice to have the kitchen so we didn't have to eat every meal out. We walked everywhere - it takes about 15 minutes to walk to Newport Beach and about 20 minutes to the other end near the Balboa Peir. If you have time, we recommend the sunset cruise in the bay and Fly N Fish Oyster Bar in Newport Beach. It's a touristy area, so a little challenging to find the gems. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
