Balboa Island Charming Bay Front Ocean Beach House

We are a local family that needed a place to stay while work was done on our home after a water leak. Balboa Island is a wonderful place and this home did not disappoint. The views are amazing, beds are comfortable, and house is clean. We enjoyed all the restaurants within walking distance and loved sunsets on the patio. Hope to find an excuse to stay here again!

Julia is fantastic to work with and makes everything very smooth! You know she’s available if something comes up and is very patient answering questions at check-in. Check out is very easy. Property is beautiful. Island is a little crowded at Christmas but definitely a Wonderland of lights! Highly recommend this property!

This was our second year in a row staying at the house towards the end of summer and it was so lovely once again. The house is in an amazing location and we love looking at the boats on the water. Incredibly clean, equipped with everything you'd need, and overall just a smooth and great experience. Will definitely be renting it again!

We truly enjoyed our stay. The location is fantastic and the house is overall beautiful. There were a few issues I would like to share with the owners though. This is a luxury rental and details matter. Many of the glasses in the cabinets were very dirty. Champagne mostly. We had to wash them all for our stay. Also, the beach towels had been hanging there for a very long time as they were hard and framed with the hook when you took them off. Those should be washed between every rental. Many of the bathroom towels were also on hooks. Due to the beach towels, I was not confident they had been cleaned. The fireplace also didn’t work during our stay, but they came to fix it fairly quickly. A few of the wall lamps also didn’t work. Assuming the bulbs haven’t been replaced. You may also want to get some better knifes. We had filets and struggled with the knives provided. Lastly, the couch cushion outside needs to be replaced or refilled. Again, the house is lovely and Julie was awesome. You just have to tighten up the cleaning and maintenance process a bit. Thanks again for the wonderful week! We will most likely be back!

We love this property! The property manager, Julie is awesome and fantastic to work with. Always super helpful and communicative. The property is well kept and beautiful. We are coming back next year and hope to for more years to come!

We booked the upper and downstairs units for our family vacation. It was a beautiful property that met all of our needs on our favorite Balboa Island. Wonderful property, wonderful trip.

Communication before arrival communication was fantastic, and hard to believe it was possible, but the unit is even more beautiful than the pictures show, with a location that you can’t beat! The unit was absolutely immaculate and stocked perfectly. Also, top it all off, the property manager was amazing! We hope to come back again and again and again! Thank you for a wonderful getaway!
