Fort Pierce is a mid-sized city in St. Lucie County Florida on the state’s Treasure Coast. Nature lovers in the area flock to one of the premier horticultural facilities in the region in the Heathcote Botanical Gardens. The Gardens consists of an assortment of specialty gardens including a Japanese Garden, Reflection Garden, Herb Garden, Rainforest Display, Native Plants Garden and a Palm & Cycad Walk.
