There are just two steps from the main floor to the lawn. Runamuk has a sandy swimming beach, sandy bottom, and our lake has a gentle sloping bottom. At the end of our dock it’s about 4’ deep. Durphee Lake is excellent for pan fishing right off the dock or out in your fishing boat. It’s big enough for power boats and jet skis (personal watercraft) but quiet and low-traffic enough to enjoy the great outdoors. Guests are still required to clean the grill, empty trash cans, and replenish firewood in the woodhouse from the bulk wood behind the garage.
