We had a very nice time staying at this little glamping cabin. The cabin was extremely clean, including the port-a-potty. The set-up was perfect for the two of us and our small dog. We really enjoyed having fires at night and looking up at the beautiful stars. It was a nice bonus to find that the first fire was ready to go and just needed to be lit. The bed was very comfortable and it was easy to sleep in on these cool and foggy mornings! We enjoyed seeing the farm animals, as well as the bunnies, deer, and a fat groundhog who lives near the pond. We had a very comfortable stay.
all was as advertised and very peaceful!
Primitive but nice!
If you want the experience of Backcountry camping without the tent, this is the place. Cook your meals on the fire and hang out in the beauty of WV. Hosts were accommodating.
I love this little cabin so much. I fell asleep each night with the windows open and nothing but the sounds of nature singing me to sleep. I woke up each morning having had the best sleep of my life. Getting back to the basics doesn't have to mean lying on the cold ground. This little gem is quaint and cozy, it has a heater for the winter and its own private outhouse, and it's a short walk past a beautiful lake to take a warm shower. The area is remote but very close to town with everything you want, plenty of things to do, places to eat and lots and lots and lots and lots of trails. I had so much fun I didn't want to go home. That's why I'm going back again!
Great getaway for appreciating simple living. We took advantage of the trails for hiking and the cabin was quaint and cozy
We loved our trip and had so much fun feeling off the grid while still feeling extremely safe and close to town. The hosts were great and very helpful!
The cabin was perfect for a few days away from the hustle of normal life. I enjoyed the animals visiting the pond and the hike around the property. A beautiful landscape and great hosts!!
Very clean and gorgeous property. Close enough to the town if you need something, while feeling like you're off the grid.
Quiet, peaceful and relaxing. Beautiful property to enjoy a walk or a hike. Plenty of animals to amuse you and very accommodating owners.
