Enjoy your morning coffee or a meal on the front porch, and bring in the evenings on the back deck, surrounded by nothing but the trees. brThe home is located within the Old Timberline community which is gated with a 24 hour security guard, offers two large lakes, 500 acres of conservancy land, and private access to both the Canaan Valley National Wildlife Refuge and the Dolly Sods Wilderness Area. The community also abuts Timberline Ski Resort; Mountainbrook is very close to Timberline, which means you can hit the slopes in under 5 minutes!brWhen you enter the main living space, you will be greeted by a Great Room with lofted ceilings and a spacious, well appointed kitchen with all the standard appliances, plenty of dish wear and cooking equipment. Also provided are salt, pepper, sugar, basic spices and some Keurig type coffee pods. On the back deck under a cover is a propane grill for your use. There is a large gas fireplace, so no messing around with logs and ashes. A TV and lots of games and puzzles in the great room, which offers a comfortable place to lounge and enjoy time with loved ones. Upstairs is a large yet cozy and relaxing loft space.brContinuing on the main floor of the cabin you will find two expansive bedrooms, both with ensuite bathrooms. The Gray Room is equipped with a queen sized bed and you can wake up enjoying the best views into the woods. The Green Room is equipped with a king bed, a large reclining chair, and a TV. brIn the lower level of the cabin, there is a third bedroom, with a king sized bed and a large desk. This space offers a quiet refuge from the rest of the house, with separate additional living space with TV and a full bathroom down the hall. The laundry is also located on this floor. Please note: There are two external security cameras (front door, driveway), not monitored during guest stays. brAll wheel drive or chains are often required during winter months. Vehicles not equipped can be parked in gatehouse parking area. The good news is the road and driveway to our cabin is a short and easy grade from the gate.
