The city is blessed with a variety of beautiful architecture, with great care having been taken to preserve its character. The ancient walls surround the city centre and one can walk along them, through various scenic parks. There is a thriving tennis and squash club, along with various fitness and health clubs and there is a selection of shops and restaurants, the latter offering excellent choices for the most varied culinary tastes.brJust to the north of Chichester are the stunning South Downs, with lovely rolling countryside and as well as many picturesque Downland villages. There is the Goodwood horse racing track to visit, along with the world famous motor sports events held annually, such as the Festival of Speed and Goodwood Revival. Golf is also available at Goodwood and the polo at Cowdray Park, near Midhurst, is just a short drive away. There is excellent sailing in Chichester Harbour, as well as windsurfing at the Witterings and diving at Bracklesham Bay. London is less than 2 hours away, either by road or rail.

You have your own front door which takes you into the access corridor where you can store all your beach kit or bikes. Heading through into the small courtyard area you will find the outdoor solar shower, perfect for washing the sand and salt of you before you enter the chalet. Inside, the studio chalet is all you need for a couples' break. On the right as you enter is the bathroom with walk in shower. Continuing on in the main living area is the kitchenette (with hob but no oven), the living area with smart TV and good Wi-Fi and the fantastic King sized bed. The 18th century cottage can be found down a secluded lane on the end of a row of terraced cottages that were originally built for the village coastguards.brbrMy property sleeps up to 4 guests and is located just a short walk from Selsey High Street.brbrGround FloorbrbrEntrance porch leads into the kitchen with stairs up to the first floor.brbrThe large kitchen is a traditional farmhouse kitchen with a dining table seating up to 4 guests. Use of appliances includes an oven, electric hob, fridge and freezer, washing machine and dishwasher. Smaller appliances include a microwave, kettle and toaster.brbrThe cosy sitting room has a large comfortable sofa, arm chair and a smart TV (you will need to use your own log in details to access the apps) and DVD player.brbrUpstairs you will find two beautifully furnished bedrooms (one king and one double) with lovely views over the surrounding farmland and sea. Both bedrooms have plenty of storage space with wardrobes and chests of drawers. The main bathroom is between the two bedrooms (up a few extra steps) with a bath with hand shower, WC and basin.brbrThere is also a WC and shower room outside for washing off the sea and sand after a day spent on the beach. A lovely base to explore the local area, Pirate's Point is also perfect for those looking to sit back and unwind in the cosy sitting room or out on the sun-drenched patio.brbrParking is available for one car, beside the cottage.brbrThere will be some complimentary tea, coffee and biscuits waiting for you which I am sure will be welcome for those arriving after a long journey!brFresh white bedding and towels are provided (hand towel and bath towel per person), as well as miniature travel sized bottles of shampoo, shower gel and soap. Other items provided during your stay are a washing-up pack, loo roll and kitchen roll. These should last a couple of days. If more is needed, there is a local convenience store on the High Street.brbrGuests have access to the whole property. Access to the cottage is down a private gravel road, and there is space for one car beside the cottage. Access to the cottage is through the archway and the front door is the first porch door.brbrCheck In / Check OutbrCheck in time is after 4pm and check out is before 10am.
