We're glad to share our slice of paradise.brbrOur open planned, newly renovated, one-bedroom apartment is a fully self contained cosy space for you and your guests. With a comfortable couch to relax on with a large flat screen TV after a long day at the beach or exploring. If required, the couch can be converted to a comfortable queen bed for two. brbrYou'll find a a comfortable Queen bed in the bedroom with fresh linen and soft lighting and an adjoining ensuite bathroom. A fully functional kitchen for all of your cooking needs along with a large communal BBQ area.brbrYou will have access to a large washing machine also to wash any sandy or dirty clothes.brbrYou have full access to the apartment and enjoy our part of Paradise. The key will be left for you prior to arriving and we will pass on the information regarding the lockbox at least 24 hrs prior to your arrivalbrbrThis is your place to enjoy, though we are always accessible by message, Whatsapp’s or Phone call. We’ll be on hand to ensure your stay is as smooth and enjoyable as possible whilst passing on any local knowledge that helps.brbrThe area boasts great fishing, either straight off the beach in the surf or at nearby Shallow Inlet, where boats can also be launched. The inlet has picturesque sand dunes, and is a great playground for kids, whilst also being one of the top windsurfing spots in the whole of Australia.brbrWilsons Promontory National Park, the southern most point of the Australian Mainland is a 35-40km drive from the house, and makes for a fantastic daytrip.brbrFish Creek and Foster are the nearest towns, each about 20 minutes away. Fish Creek boasts several art galleries, and is home to works by Celia Rosser.brbrGreat place to go whilst in sandy point is Shallow Inlet only 5 minutes in the car, drive in on the sand and back your car up the embankment. Bird life is plentiful with lots of pelicans, large Pacific gulls, some brilliant views of the prom, BBQ, toilets, it's a special place to enjoy.brbrMain beach in Sandy Point is a spectacular beach a short walk from the house. It’s a very safe beach for kids though often does get a decent swell.brbrSunsets at both areas are sensationalbrbrWalking is the best way around at Sandy Point. Bikes are another amazing way too, the roads are flat and And there are plenty of trails to follow. The property has plenty of space for off street parking.brbrSandy Point is a great place if you like bike riding with quite streets getting around on a bike is easy. The nearby old railway line provides a safe and scenic bike track from Fish Creek to Foster and is worth exploring.brbrThe Myrtles accommodates four people comfortably with a queen bed in one bedroom and two single beds in the other. Pillows and doonas are provided, (BYO linen).brbrIf you are visiting in Winter, a slow combustion fire gives that wonderfully cosy feel.brbrThe Myrtles features an open plan kitchen/meals and living with a small covered deck opening off the living-room. The kitchen is well equipped with everything that you'll need and the living-room as a 42 flat screen TV and DVD player. The bathroom has a shower over the bath and there is a separate toilet. This rental property is located on the farm side of the township of Sandy Point situated among the Tea-Tree and Banksia's. It is a 5 minute walk to the local store, tennis courts and mini-golf, along with the Surf Club and a patrolled surf beach. brWe have planted over 100 Manna Gums on our property and these easily attract our local koala population and often we have them feeding and sleeping in our trees!br brThe roadways are shared by both vehicles and pedestrians walking and bike riding. Shallow Inlet is a waterway 5 minutes by car and a 20 minute walk along the new walking track. The walking track is adjacent to the Sandy Point Road and the inlet is where you can take in views of 'The Prom' on the large sand dunes. br brFish Creek and Foster are the closest towns and are within 15-20 minutes from Sandy Point. Fish Creek is home to several art studio's and the famous Botanical Banksia Artist and Drawings of 'Celia Rosser'. The Gecko Studio Gallery, also in Fish Creek has original artworks and gifts for purchase. brbrStudio 51brbrThis is a Contemporary/Modern designed building with open plan living, dining and kitchen. The kitchen is fitted with S/S appliances and has 'Jarrah' wooden bench tops. The living area has a combination Ipod/CD/USB/Radio player and a Flat Screen LCD HD 32in TV and DVD player. Heating is either via a reverse cycle air conditioner or a slow combustion wood heater. There is a cupboard laundry with a front loading washing machine. The bathroom has a large shower and a semi recessed hand basin. The toilet is separate to the bathroom. There is an outside shower with hot and cold water which is also available for washing off after a day at the beach. br2 bedrooms sleep 6 adults comfortably with 1 room having a queen size bed and the other a queen size bed and single bunks. brIf you require bed linen and towels there is and extra charge of $60/stay paid by direct deposit to our bank account. (Not charged through Stayz).brOtherwise you can supply your own bed linen (sheets, pillow cases) and towels if preferred. brbrThe garden is landscaped with Australian natives. The decking outside is protected by a sun shade and available for your use is a gas BBQ and outdoor setting. brTwo full size vehicles can easily park close to the decking and entrance to the STUDIO. Dog friendly (no cats), kid friendly (trampoline) three bedroom, two living spaces designed to comfortably accommodate two families, sleeping up to 9 people. Free NBN wifi is available with a folding desk in the second living space for working from home.brBright open plan living/dining/kitchen with reverse cycle air conditioner and woodheater with has a child safety guard.
