A world of ships and history where you can be the captain of your own adventure.brWe love the dark moody hallway as you enter reminiscent of the lower deck steerage on a boat with cabin numbers on the doors and interiors that can take you to the 1940s.brWalking up the steps to the dark and moody Captains Quarters with portraits of the infamous 'Sea Dogs' and a cosy fire, built in bookcase and day bed. We pick out a book that sends us back to our childhood and curl up under the reading lamp. On sunny days we open the doors and sit on the deck looking out to the lake and the water.brOn the upper level the light and bright lounge is reminiscent of an ocean liners deck complete with lifejacket and water hose. Such a beautiful light an bright space with dining and a galley style kitchen.brOn this level is the master suite with four poster bed and window seat, the first class 'cabin' with ensuite.brFor the best lunch or dinner, we take a short stroll to the Metung Hotel (locally known as the Pub) and always book a table with a view. Its always bustling so you have to book. For breakfast, we eat at Aroma Coffee House or we head into Lakes Entrance and buy fresh prawns off the boats and come back and sit outside with local wine and feast.brPAWfectbrWhat fun! a new house to visit that lets (SMALL) four-legged friends like me sleep inside.brYay! a garden and courtyard with fences to keep me safe. Love the trees and bushes there are lots of interesting smells. Are those possums, koalas and kookaburras in the trees br I LOVE THIS PLACE.

Located in the picturesque waterside village of Metung, this family friendly, newly renovated 2 bedroom house that sleeps 4, is nestled in the Tambo Bluff Estate, close to the newly opened Metung Hot Springs and The Metung Country Club and Golf Course. Stay and enjoy the tranquil bush setting full of bird life, bring your boat and multiple cars to explore Lake King on your doorstep in Metung, and the local attractions of Lakes Entrance and East Gippsland. brbrbrThe 2 bedroom home has been lovingly renovated and prepared for guests to give them a warm, comfortable and luxury experience in the home. It has new furnishings and bedding, new kitchen, repainted inside and out, refurbished bathroom, toilet and laundry. A 58 inch UHD TV, Netflix and wifi for guest use. Outside includes a huge lawn area, established gardens, a bbq and seating area out the back and plenty of surfaced paths and parking areas for cars and boats. It also has a secluded beach a 15 minute walk or a 2 minute drive away. A full map is provided in the welcome book onsite for you to find the beach.brbrbrGuests have access to most of the property and can use all facilities provided. We do have a garden shed, cleaners cupboard in the bathroom and storeroom on the side of the house that is restricted for maintenance staff and cleaners only. The rest of the property is available for use, including full use of the house. We are not available onsite, but available to contact 24/7 if any you have any queries.
