Only a short drive from the pristine Bridgewater Bay, Discovery Bay and 20 minutes from Portland; the magnificently restored St. Peter's Church, which was built in 1883 and held its first service on 5 August 1884 has style, character, sophistication and charm and is certainly a destination of distinction.brbrThe inside restoration of the Church is a revelation.brRemnants of the old Church still feature; the wooden staircase to the pulpit, white monastic walls, local hardwood polished floor boards and ceilings of Oregon beams and kauri, even some of the pews have been used.
