It has been our family holiday home for over 17 years and is ideal for a private family getaway, large groups or two families wanting to go on holiday together. The Trullo sleeps 7, has 4 bedrooms; 2 double, 1 twin and 1 single (cot available on request) and 3 bathrooms; 2 en suite and 1 with a bath. The kitchen is well equipped with an oven/hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine and opens out onto a shady patio. It has a cosy sitting room with 2 small sofas. brbrThe villa is tastefully decorated with many of the furnishings locally sourced from potteries and antique markets. Many of the pictures and prints on the walls are by the owner, Caroline, and fellow artists. brbrThe fabulous large enclosed private pool is for sole use with plenty of shade and surrounded by vineyards, olive groves and cherry orchards. The pool was retiled last year and is a lovely iridescent blue/purple. There is a room underneath to store games, toys for the pool and suitcases. brbrThere are many places to relax outside - around the pool, on the garden patio surrounded by vines and fruit trees, and the outside dining area. There is a WiFi, table tennis table, books, DVDs, games, TV with all the main networks available, and plenty of drawing paper and colouring pens.brbr We started planting the garden 10 years ago and it is now becoming established with a small orchard of olive and fruit trees, oleander, jasmine, bougainvillea, and lavender. There are plenty of opportunities to sit and eat outside either of the two patios or by the poolside.brbrIt is close to the historic towns of Conversano and Putignano. The beach, Polignano a Mare, Alberobello (the Trulli Capital) and hilltop towns of Martina Franca and Locorotondo are only a short drive (30 - 60 mins) away.brbrOur nearest town, Castellana, has everything that you need, including plenty to watch in the square during the summer months.brbrPlease note that during the months of July and August bookings are from Saturday to Saturday and for a minimum of 7 nights. The building has a habitable area of 100 sq m. From the entrance hallway, on the left hand side there is small sitting room with stone fireplace while on the right hand side you can reach the fully-equipped kitchen with dining room. From the kitchen and from outside it is possibile to have access to the large covered veranda that is completely dedicated to wellness: large heated stone hydro-massage tub with 16 water jets up to 34 degrees, infrared sauna and relax area with chromotherapy with sofas and chaises longues to enjoy the view over the valley. To the left is the master bedroom cleverly equipped with a working bioethanol fireplace; the room has an en-suite bathroom with shower. To the right is the second double bedroom with adjacent a bathroom with shower. Air conditioning only in the bedrooms.brPark:brThe park surrounding the house is about 14.000 sq m of level land, planted mainly with olive and fruit trees. In a part of the garden not far from the house, an iron and tissue pergola finds its ideal place, creating a lovely shaded area furnished with comfortable resin seats. Near the entrance and a short distance from the swimming pool, on the other hand, a covered patio equipped with a dining table enriches the area, which thus becomes enjoyable especially in moments of conviviality, thanks also to the bar kiosk with a stone barbecue. The grounds of the property provide parking for 7 cars in an area adjacent to the house.brPlease notice that photos are taken in spring, therefore flower blossoming, and the colours of the gardens' grass could be different at the moment of your arrival at the villa.brSwimming Pool:brThe circular pool (5 m diameter) is about 10 m from the house and is easily reached from the gazebo. It has a constant depth of 1,40 m, access to the water is via large steps, it has chlorine purification and is lined in stone with half the circumference taken up by seating for hydro-massAge. The sunbathing area is in part stone-paving and in part lawn. From the trulli, a corridor with large windows leads to the modern part of the property, that consists in a with a living room, a fully equipped kitchen and a service/laundry bathroom.
