You will need to bring your own hand & shower soap, shampoo, personal care items, bath, beach & dish towels, and any extra bedding to make you feel at home (small propane barbecue is available upon request).brYou will have the place to yourself based on the # of guests as per your reservation. No smoking indoors, no parties and no outside guests.brIt's an ideal quiet and comfortable place for a family, or a group of friends to enjoy outdoor activities year round: swimming, fishing, boating, hiking, and cross country skiing and ice hut fishing in the winter. You are also welcome to stop by our Happen Inn log house for some live music, play pool or watch movies on the big screen.

Whether you’re seeking a peaceful, quiet, night away or planning an extended stay this property is ideal. It is just minutes away from beautiful Georgian Bay, approximately 20 minutes from Henvey Inlet, 45 minutes from the town of Parry Sound or 60 minutes from Sudbury. The house is fully furnished and comes equipped with the basic amenities. brThe town of Britt is the perfect place to relax and enjoy nature.brThe town offers two Marina’s, a General Store that serves as a Liquor & Beer Store, Motel & Inn, Restaurant & Community Centre, Senior Centre, Post Office, Public School, Library & Legion. Because of the Covid19 Pandemic the Restaurant & Legion are closed and safe distancing is practiced at all public areas in the town. However, there is a Chip Wagon a short distance away on Highway 69 North. During the summer months you can enjoy a day paddling the Magnetawan River in your canoe or kayak or a day of fishing on beautiful Georgian Bay. Britt is the perfect place to relax and enjoy nature. There are many parks & trails just minutes away.brAlthough this cottage comes equipped with most kitchen & bathroom essentials you will need to bring your own hand & shower soap, shampoo, personal care items, bath, beach, dish & tea towels, and any extra bedding that will make you feel safe during this time of uncertainty during the Covid19 pandemic. A small barbecue is available upon request.brThis property is ideal for a couple to enjoy outdoor activities year round, ie. fishing, hiking, boating, enjoying the great outdoors. Britt is the Hidden Gem of Georgian Bay, easily accessible but not commercialized. A small community of 300 odd friendly folks, it's rustic and serene. In summers, watch beavers, ducks and loons, swim in Silent River, or sit on the swing and enjoy the breeze. Visit the local Ice Cream parlor or rent a canoe and make your way to Georgian Bay. In winters, go ice fishing in the beautiful Magnetawan teeming with Bass, Pike, Perch, Walleye, Catfish, Smelt, Speckle Trout, etc. brbrSpacious and cozy, a bright yellow door welcomes you to the cottage and the sound of flowing water lulls you to sleep. Modern amenities make your stay comfortable while the feeling of escape persists, especially once the sky darkens. With two bedrooms and two bathrooms, there's ample room to enjoy board games on the gaming table, sip your morning coffee in the sunroom, or stargaze on clear nights. We have two queen beds and a bunk bed, making it ideal for four adults and two children. There’s also a dock to swim or tie your boat. brFire extinguishers are available in the Sunroom and the Kitchen (under the sink), and a basic First Aid kit is located inside the Cedar bathroom vanity.brbrPlease note, this village is in unorganized territory, so not every city-based amenity is available. There’s one shop for groceries, basics, and booze, and water comes from a drilled well. There is no trash collection, so we ask guests to carry away their garbage and recyclables, but if this is difficult, we’ve other options.
