It’s about 1.5 hours drive from Sydney and has access via train at the Wentworth Falls train station, which is a 15 minute walk to our house. brbrWentworth Falls hosts several festivals throughout the year, a lake, golf course, tennis courts and many lovely hikes including the trail that takes you to the base of the Wentworth waterfalls. brbrOur house is on what is widely considered the nicest street in Wentworth Falls. We’re just across the street from the Wentworth Falls Lake and just down the road from the Wentworth Falls golf course. We’re about a 15-minute walk to the shops and cafes of Wentworth Falls where you can get coffee, lunch or dinner, groceries, a great soft pretzel or local crafts and wares. brbrWe have friendly, respectful neighbours, and we expect our guests would be that way also. It’s dark on our street at night, so you will have a chance to go out near the lake and see the night sky.brbrGetting to the charming village of Wentworth Falls is easy, either via car or train. We have parking for two regular size cars on the property. There is also plenty of free additional on street parking. brbrWhile in Wentworth Falls, it is easy to get around by car, walking or biking. The lake is across the street from our house so if you’re keen, there’s no need to do anything but pull on your swimmers and pop across the street! The hikes on the south side of Wentworth Falls (near Conservation Hut) are best approached by bike or car, although many hikers walk from the train station, so it’s possible. The shops and cafes are about a 15-minute walk from the house and about a 2-minute drive. There is free parking at the shops which is almost always available, but this can fill up on busy days. What guests most love about our property and one of the main reasons we get repeat bookings is the great location. While many holiday lets in Wentworth Falls are located near either the The Falls or Conservation Hut or right in town, this property is between both and also backs directly onto the famed Charles Darwin walk which takes you along the creek that becomes the Wentworth Falls and is a beautiful walk. So it`s an easy 10 minute walk to town and a really pleasant half hour walk to the Wentworth Falls while also offering quick access to the highway ( a 2 minute drive ) without the highway noise ( its in a really quiet street ). It`s actually really quite feasible to catch the train up ( as quite a few of our guests do ) to stay at the property and just enjoy the famous local walks on offer as well as walk down to the lake for a picnic and enjoy what the local village has to offer on the way with its interesting shops and cafe`s. brGuests also like that it offers plenty of space, has everything you need, is easy to check in and so you will hopefully find yourself relaxing within minutes.......brIt`s the largest of 3 holiday let units located within a large semi-historic local landmark building that sits on one acre of land in a forgotten part of Wentworth falls. It is sited within a lovely spacious garden that has a naturally restful ambience and offers a lot of space to fully relax and unwind. brGuests love the features: A full kitchen with dishwasher, oven, full size fridge, etc and bathroom with separate bath and shower, and a full laundry all included which makes it ideal for longer stays as well.......
