Our home was originally built in1940. My husband and I have spent the last few years rebuilding it from the ground up, literally. (mostly my husband.) We wanted to save it! It's a lovely place! An historic house, in a magnificent spot! We are a 10 minute walk from Midtown Ruidoso, with wineries, breweries, live bands and many shops. Game trails surround us, so you can view deer, elk, and the occasional bear walk down to the nearby Rio Ruidoso river for a drink. They walk right past our house! We are close to pretty much anything you can think of. Skiing, just 45 minutes away, in the magical Sierra Blanca Mountains. Fish from a list of nearby lakes and streams. Hiking is endless from contained trails in town, to mountaintop trails deep in the woods. You can even go horseback riding! You will love the view out our front windows and you'll have 3 different patios to choose from, while listening to the burble of the Rio Ruidoso.
