    There aren't many vacation homes that can compare to the private house. With plenty of space to spread out and enjoy your time away. Space for getting comfortable and relaxing without feeling like one might need a vacation from their family/friend vacation. Each floor has at least one bedroom and bathroom and a large driveway and garage to park your car or cars throughout the year. brbrThe large spiral staircase at the entry leads to each level. The lowest floor, off the stairs, opens to a large sitting room with a grand piano and fireplace. To the right of the room is one bedroom. The bedroom has two bunk beds (full bottoms, twin tops). The connecting bathroom has a double vanity with a shower and bathtub combo. brbrThe main floor of the house has another large sitting which is also the 5th bedroom with a pullout couch bed, fireplace, exercise rower, and views of the lake. Down the hall are two bedrooms with a connecting bathroom. Each room has a queen bed, and the bathroom features a single vanity and shower. Off the hallway is a half bathroom with a washer and dryer for the renter's use. The garage entrance is on the main level down the hall and features 560 square feet for a couple of cars. brbrThere is also a Tesla charger inside the garage!!brbrThe top level of the house extends to an open floor plan living room, dining room, and kitchen: the large living room with a fireplace faces the lake, the dining room seats eight and opens to one of the many decks, and the open vaulted beamed kitchen offers knotty alder cabinetry, upscale stainless appliances, and a wine refrigerator. The stocked kitchen has baking, cooking, and utensil basics for short and long stays, even a pantry to store just bought essentials. Down the hall from the living room is another half bathroom and the master bedroom and bathroom. The master bedroom has a king bed and opens to another deck. Our roads are steep and icy so even when it’s not snowing, Tahoe is hard to navigate. brbr**POWER OUTAGES**brPower outages are very common in Tahoe. Tahoe homes do not have generators. Coming to Tahoe during the Winter requires a lot of patience and a sense of adventure.brbr**LATE CHECK OUT** brPlease let us know 24 hours prior to check out, if you wish to request a late check out. First hour is free then $25/hour after that, not to exceed 1pm. Please note our cleaners sometimes travel for up to 1 hour to clean this home so please respect the 10am check out time. They arrive promptly at 10am.brbr**NO AC**brThis home, like most in Tahoe, does not have AC but we do provide fans.brbr**FAMILY OWNED**brThis home is owned by a family/private owner and not by an investor, so you will be renting someone’s home. brbr**HIGH FIRE RISK**brLake Tahoe is a high-risk fire area. Fireworks, wood fire pits, smoking/improper disposal of cigarette butts and charcoal bbq’s are strictly prohibited.brbr**BEARS**brBears and other wildlife frequent this area so make sure to lock up when you leave the home, always lock your car doors, roll up car windows and view from afar. brbr**CRITTERS**brSpiders, cobwebs and little mountain mice are common in the mountains. brbr**BBQ/DECKS**brThe bbq is not serviced and the decks are not shovelled in the Winter.brbr**DAMAGE WAIVER**brBuilt into your clean fee is an “Accidental Damage Waiver Policy”. You are covered for anything seen as accidental and anything seen as neglectful, you will be charged for. It’s best to report all damage to us when it occurs. brbr**TOWELS**brWe supply one bath towel and one wash cloth per permitted occupant and then one hand towel per bathroom. If you think you will need more then please bring with you. brbr**SECURITY**brMost of our homes have exterior only security cameras and noise decibel monitoring systems to ensure we are in compliance with the county ordinance but we take our guests privacy VERY seriously. There is never indoor cameras and the exterior ones are only monitored if violations occur.
