Sunset Island is a unique gated community at 67th Street, on the bay side in Ocean City, MD. You feel like you are at a resort. There are many activities at your feet like swimming at either the indoor or outdoor pools, one of the 3 private beaches, or strolling along one of the walkways around the island to observe nature at its best. During the summer season there is family friendly live entertainment on the pool deck nightly. The club house is home to a large workout room that overlooks the indoor pool. There is a seasonal grill/ bar that has views of the open bay, beach with palm trees, and the outdoor pools. There is a paddle-board and kayak rental place.brbrAt the restaurant, friendly waitresses serve food and drinks pool and beachside so you can relax with your family and not worry about missing anything. The kids can enjoy many activities like crabbing or fishing on the crab pier and riding bikes or strolling on the wide brick sidewalks. brThere is also an interactive fountain the kids just love.brEveryone will enjoy walking to the seasonal Corner Store Market to get a soda, fresh coffee, pastries, a sandwich, or an ice cream. Some prefer just sitting outside reading a paper and drinking a cup of coffee while watching our beautiful surroundings. If you like water sports, jet ski and boat rentals are conveniently located just past the guard house at the Advanced Marina. brIf the big waves of the ocean call, you can walk the 2 blocks to the Ocean across the street. These are just a handful of the many activities to do on the island, but you also have the option to just kick back, relax and enjoy your surroundings. We are excited to offer to you a wonderful vacation townhome. The bay views here are amazing and relaxing. brbrThe first floor is home to the Hawaiian bedroom with a trundle bed, a half bath, a closet, garage access, and the laundry room. brThe second level has an open floor plan with lots of seating and a half bath. We just installed a new wood look tile floor and hardwood steps to the first floor. We also put LVP throughout the rest of our home and 2 new HVAC units. The family room has access to the front deck for dining al fresco and outside bench seating. There is also a game table with some board games. The well equipped kitchen is complemented with new upgraded stainless steel appliances, gorgeous granite, a long dining room table for 12, and an island with 2 bar stools. There is also a morning room with a flat screen, a wicker sectional, a mini pool table, a couple of wicker chairs and ottoman to put your feet up, maybe to read or just surf the internet with our included WiFi.brbrOn the third level is the master shell suite with a king sized bed, glass shower, deep soaking tub without jets, and access to 2nd level deck with comfy polywood rockers and lounge chairs. There are also two other fun themed bedrooms, The Surfin' USA bedroom with a pyramid bunk bed and the Jungle Gecko room with a queen size canopy bed. The hall is home to a large full bath with glass enclosure and linen closet. The 4th level of the house is topped off with a cupola and a second master, the Sailing Suite with its own full bathroom, sundeck, and queen sized bed. Out back, the 2 car garage has a covered parking pad behind it for an additional car as well as an outdoor shower. We keep some beach chairs, kids sand toys, a couple of crab traps, and a wagon in the garage. There is also a gas grill that makes great steaks or burgers, use it in the open area beyond the garage. We have grill utensils you can use.brbrWithin walking distance are the ocean beach, great restaurants, bars, specialty shops, ice cream, mini golf, a nail salon, Sunsations, Ron Jon's, and a grocery store. A short drive away is the boardwalk, golf courses, tennis courts, movie theaters, and many other activities. During every season, this is a great place to be to have fun and return to year after year.br The 3 pools and club house are currently open. Lets not fail to mention the outdoor sitting area that is perfect for slow mornings and sipping coffee. A place to watch a summer storm or enjoy a cold beer or a glass of wine. A place that will have you wanting to slow down and lounge all day long. There is a outdoor table with six chairs for gathering, sightseeing, and relaxing, as well as a lounge area with 2 cushioned arm chairs and a love seat- my personal favorite! brbrWalking into the home you will find the living area where we have a sectional sofa and a large coffee table that faces a 42 inch smart TV, great to stream all of your favorite shows. The dining room features a large 8 person table for eating meals, playing games or just hanging out together. The back door leads to a small deck, a prime location for that extra cooler stocked up with beverages and a great place to hang beach towels! The stairs lead you down to an enclosed private yard where you can stash your beach gear, rinse off in the outside shower or head out to the alley way to toss out the trash. The kitchen is tucked next to the dining area, stocked with all of your cooking essentials and a large coffee maker, so don't forget to get those ground beans. This open living space is a perfect layout for a party of 10 and is flanked with large windows creating beautiful natural light!brbrThe downstairs is also where one of the bedrooms is located. This (Bedroom 1) has a Queen size bed, night stand, dresser, closet, a Roku smart TV as well as a full length mirror. In this room is where you will also find the stacked washer and dryer. The first full bathroom also located next to the bedroom with a walk-in shower and a large cabinet for storage.brbrUpstairs you will find the three additional bedrooms and the 2nd full bathroom. This bathroom has a tub/shower combo and a large cabinet for storage. (Bedroom 2)- has a king sized bed, two night stands, a large dresser, a deep closet, flat screen smart TV, a full length mirror and access to the upper deck. (Bedroom 3)- is very spacious and has two full sized beds, dresser, closet, flat screen smart TV, full length mirror and access to the upper deck. (Bedroom 4)- has two twin beds, dresser, closet, flat screen smart TV and mirror. All bedrooms have new duvets that are washed weekly and windows with adjustable blinds.brbrThe second level balcony offers beautiful ocean views, you can see the beach access from there and the dunes at the end of the block. We are not a full time rental. We are walking distance from the beach. Fenced in back yard with a 6 person dining set. Parking is directly in front of the house. You have 2 assigned parking spots. Street parking is also available. We do not strip the home for rentals. We want you to enjoy your vacation. We have had bad experiences staying in rentals and we do not want that to be your experience. AC is 5 years old. Washer and dryer are 3 years old. We have two smart tvs, family room with a DVD player and master bedroom. A 3rd non internet tv can be in the Bunk bed room for gaming consoles upon request. The grill is charcoal (provided). Please note that the cleaning fee is NOT to clean the house but rather to disinfect and prepare the house for your safety. Please return the house to the same condition. Vacuum, carpet cleaner, 2 small beach coolers, beach chairs, and toys are provided. Bath towels and linen is provided. Please bring beach towels. The back yard has a gate so bikes etc can be stored away. The back yard is cemented. We only rent a few weeks a year and have always had the nicest and most appreciative renters. We try to accommodate you if any scheduling changes should arise. brCoffee, donuts, CVS, groceries stores, WaWa, park, movie theater, shopping, restaurants, and beach are all within walking distance. There is a community fenced in pool only for our small community. It is not open to the public and the pool is very well kept. Absolutely no smoking or pets are allowed. We rent with small children in mind which may have allergies and tend to craw/sit on the floor.
