Our small house is located close to the sea and the city at the top of the small, typical Ligurian village Cantalupo, surrounded by olive groves and enchanted gardens. The beautiful surroundings can be easily explored on foot directly from the house. brLike most Ligurian houses, our rooms have vaulted ceilings. The special thing about our apartment is the many windows with a view of the greenery and the distance.brHere you will find absolute peace and deceleration, only occasionally interrupted by the natural hustle and bustle of the village and a few dogs in the neighborhood.brbrFrom the parking lot at the old chapel, an approximately 80m stairway footpath leads through the village to the small private road at the upper end of the village. Here you can go through the front door directly into the entrance room of the small house, which is separated from the rest of the room and entrance area by a curtain with two new, combined single beds, shelves and a cupboard.brAlso on the ground floor is the bathroom with toilet, sink, hip bathtub, hairdryer, etc.brbrA separate bedroom with a double bed, a secretary and a wardrobe as well as a view of the old church tower is three steps higher. brbrOn the upper floor (approx. 12 steps) is the spacious and bright living room with a beautiful dining table, two armchairs, a new sofa bed as well as a fireplace and windows into the surrounding gardens and olive groves. brA well-equipped kitchenette (gas stove, table oven, refrigerator, washing machine) leads to the hidden roof terrace with a wonderful, unobstructed view of the village with church and gardens and far to the west of the Maritime Alps (no motorway!).brbrThe equipment includes gas central heating and a fireplace with olive wood, which makes the house very comfortable to live in even in the winter months. Fan, hairdryer, mosquito nets, radio/CD/MP3 player, a guitar, local travel guides, German-language Italian cookbooks, a small library and games for children and adults ensure a pleasant stay. brThere is no TV, phone or WiFi, but there is good cell phone coverage.brbrThis house is ideal for any couple or small family who appreciates the tranquility of the Ligurian villages as a starting point for trips to the nearby coast or the many beautiful places in the area.brbrYou will be welcomed and looked after on site by an Italian family from the village.
