Rural Cabin with Fire Ring Perfect for Outdoor Activities in Indiana

All of our cabins are rustic and DO NOT have inside plumbing. There is a public restroom and shower house within walking distance to the cabins. Bring your own bed linens and towels. brbr brbrThis cabin is ideal for a family as it has a queen bed, a bunk bed and a loft that can sleep 2 kids. This cabin has air conditioning and heat, and is equipped with a desk, microwave, hot plate and refrigerator. Fire rings and picnic tables are provided outside of each cabin. It has a cold water sink and toilet. Centralized restroom facilities are available, with hot water and showers. brbr brbrCAMPGROUND WATER- We shut our water off starting when we reach freezing temperatures. November 1st- April 1st. THE SINK, TOILET, AND SHOWER WILL NOT BE USABLE. There is a separate building we use for restrooms and showers a short walk away. brbr brbrKitchen - there is a working sink in the kitchen area that can be used when water is turned on from April - November. The stove in the kitchen area is non-functioning, but there is a fire pit just outside your door. brbr brbrBATHROOMS - there is a bathroom in this camper with a sink, functioning toilet and shower when water is turned on from April - November. There are additional shared restroom and shower facilities just a short walk away. brbr brbrBUGS & WILDLIFE - this adorable camper is located in a heavily wooded area which comes with all of the joys of being in the woods including critters, bugs and wildlife. This is their home you are visiting and we cannot guarantee they will always keep to themselves! brbr brbrCamp Dogs- Barney 13 years old white and tan brbrZippy 1 years old tan. They will be roaming around.

Within 5 minutes from Nashville, Gimme a Break is a vacation cabin that you cannot miss. Although close to Nashville, you are on a gorgeous piece of property in Brown County, Indiana. The cabin has a gorgeous view of Greenbriar Lake. While that is a private lake and it OFF LIMITS, the view out the front the of cabin is so peaceful. There is a circular drive so room for your family and you to make plenty of memories.brbrThere is a covered patio on the front of the vacation cabin and just a couple of steps in to the cabin. There are no other steps in this home. brbrAs you enter into the cabin, there is a seasonal gas fireplace right in front of you in the cozy living room. Turn to the right and walk down the hallway to find a full bath with tub/shower combination. There is a bedroom with a queen bed and the other bedroom has a bunk bed (single on top and queen on bottom). To the left of the living room you will find the beautiful master suite with full bath (shower only).brbrThere is a separate dining room and full kitchen with all the appliances and pots/pans and baking dishes to make a family feast. You can stream movies and sports events on the big TV on your own Netflix, Hulu or other entertainment servicebrbrOn the back of the cabin is a nice big yard for your family to enjoy some Brown County fun if you bring any yard games with you. There is a covered screened in porch and a hot tub to soak those bones after a long day of shopping in the town of Nashville. brbrIf you want to be close by all that Nashville has to offer, you could not make a better choice than Gimme a Break! This is a wonderful retreat while exploring all of the village’s 250-plus shops and craft galleries that are renowned throughout the Midwest. WoodHaven has 100mbps fibre optic wifi.br4 bedroom, 3 bath home, the game room in the walk out basement has a pool table . A closet full of board games, puzzles, cards and other games is located on the 2nd floor. The deck off the main living space is like sitting in a tree house, there is a gas grill and table and chairs. The master bedroom has king bed and an en suite bathroom. The other main floor bedroom has a queen bed and en suite bath with shower. Upstairs is a bedroom with queen bed, jack and jill bath. 2nd bedroom has 2 twins beds. There is even an extra shower in basement if the other showers are busy. Washer and dryer are in basement. WoodHaven is close to Brown County State Park, less than a mile to eXplore Brown County with zip lines, Story Inn Restaurants, Nashville shopping and eateries. 30 minutes to Edinburgh outlet mall.brDRIVEWAY:brThe house is perched on a hill in the woods. The first thing you will notice as you begin to turn onto the driveway is that it is steep and curves up the hill. If your vehicle has 4WD we recommend you utilize it. If you do not have 4WDwe recommend you shift into low gear(L) if your car has that option. This will provide the smoothest ascent up the drive. Please keep your speed up ALL THE WAY through the curve to provide sufficient momentum to smoothly ascend the drive.. The climb will be worth it. Once you reach the Cottage at the top of the hill there is plenty of space for parking.brATTENTION BICYCLERS:brWe are designate Mountain Bike Friendly by the Brown County Tourism Bureau.brWe have a walk out basement that makes it easy to bring your bikes inside. We are close to several biking areas (see links listed on this site).brbrWINTER TRAVELERS PLEASE NOTE:brOur property sits on a hill so it does have a steep driveway. Therefore, there is a risk that it could become impassable if we get snow or ice. We do live next door and will make every effort to keep the drive clear.
