This is a perfect location for both exploring historic Angola and visiting Trine. It is only .4 mile from Cameron Memorial Hospital as well. Angola is nestled in the heart of lake country; you can spend your days on the lake and come relax in the evening. Or spend your day hiking the trails of beautiful Pokagon State Park, located just 7 miles. The home is located across the street from the local elementary school, the playground and basketball court are open for use during now school hours. The master bedroom is on the main level situated next to the full bathroom and just off the sitting room. The sitting room has stocked bookshelves, puzzles, chairs, and a puzzle table. There is an exterior door from the sitting room to the side porch with additional seating. The dining room table has room for 8 around it, and the peninsula has seating for another 5. The kitchen has a gas stove, fridge/freezer with water and ice, and dishwasher. There is also a butlers kitchen hosting coffee maker, coffee grinder, air fryer, toaster oven, mini fridge and 2nd sink. The living room has a sectional couch and a smart tv. In all, we offer comfortable sleeping for 30.brbrOur lakefront home has 3 Bedrooms, 2 ½ baths, and a large loft with sleeping quarters (In total it sleeps 16) Also, it offers a spacious living room, family room, dining area and a large utility room.brbrThe main level offers two bedrooms, one king master suite with a jacuzzi tub and one queen bedroom. It offers a large living room with an impressive wall of windows and a cozy gas log fireplace. The main level also offers a guest half bath and a massive storage closet. There is access to the loft area from the living room. The loft area has three queen beds and extra space. There is also a Queen pull out sofa located in the living room.brbrThe lower level has an open floor plan with a chef’s dream kitchen, custom Amish cabinets, wine rack, pantry, and a utility closet that offers laundry on site. Indeed the lakehouse and its companion building by the dock are well-maintained and relatively new. It was well furnished and nicely appointed with attention to details of design. We were there for a family reunion, seven of us, and we selected it partly because of the dock for our boat. Price and fees seemed high initially, but during our visit and afterward, the overall experience for everyone made it worth the cost. Views of sunrise over the quiet morning lake were very good. Master suites on the upper floor were exceptionally comfortable. Parking was ample and easy. Because of the site's slope from the parking to the lake, there are many stairs up and down the property that are good for exercise. People with mobility issues may find it challenging. The lower building, with its deck, barbecue, and large screened-in space opening to the lake, was an evening favorite for conversation and games.
