I am a custom woodworker and builder and designed and built this house. All of the woodwork, doors, cabinetry and much of the furniture was designed and built by me for this home. The finishes and general feel and space of this house is unique, warm and clean. House has great views and a deck from the second floor as well as wrap around covered porch on the first level. Located on a 1/4 acre in a quiet neighborhood a few blocks distance from city center where one can find numerous shops, restaurants and a grocery store. Trail heads accessing wilderness are as near as a 10 minute car drive. Grand Targhee ski and summer resort is a 20 minute drive and there is also a shuttle service available with a stop about a block and a half away. Driggs is an excellent location for visiting Teton Valley, Yellowstone or Grand Teton National Parks, Jackson Hole, Teton Village or South Western Montana as all are a beautiful car drive away!

The private bedroom on the main floor features a full bed with a closet. The loft area is open to the living and kitchen area with queen accommodations and a reading/sitting area. Our living area faces west for lovely sunset views, electric fireplace, flat screen TV/DVD player, and includes Direct TV. The property also has access to WiFi. The kitchen is fully functional to either cook a beautiful meal at home or to sit back and relax after a meal in town. If you don't feel like cooking indoors, we have provided a gas BBQ grill and outdoor covered sitting area on the upper deck, while the sunny lower deck features two outdoor lounge chairs and sitting area for lounging or visiting about your day. Our place is an ideal couples retreat and great location to explore Eastern Idaho and Western Wyoming during any season. Our own domestic critters include geese (the three stooges), ducks, peacocks, a few cats and Jack our Border Collie for a bit of entertainment.brbrHeading outside, views from the front decks face west to the Big Hole mountains for beautiful sunsets with milkshakes or cocktails in hand. Grand Targhee to the northeast, the winter ski, and summer mountain bike resort, can also be viewed from the decks. We are centrally located from the towns of Driggs (3 miles) and Victor (7 miles) for shopping and a plethora of dining experiences while Grand Targhee is a mere 9 miles away. Even though we are close to local features, we are set in a laid back rural area of the valley which offers peace and quiet for those days or evenings when you just want to wind down. Numerous bike trails, hiking, golfing, fishing or a nice float on the Teton River are minutes away for summer users. In the winter season, skiing, snowshoeing, snowmobiling, and other winter sports are abundant.
