The larger and historic Aljezur is only 15 minutes away and has everything you need. The town is located right in the middle between famous surf beach Arrifana and the less well known but perhaps even prettier Monte Clerigo beach. Other beaches like Amoreira, Amado and Odeceixe are just a short drive away. Whether you want to relax, go for a surf or enjoy an amazing hike in the nature reserve, Vale da Telha is the place to be. The house is annexed to Casa Sul and is surrounded by gardens and you can either use the covered south-facing terrace or the conservatory as outside spaces. In the colder months, a wood-burning stove and electric radiators provide cosy warmth. brbrThe location: brOur property is located on a hill overlooking the valley and is surrounded by cork oaks and pine forests. You can take beautiful walks in nature directly from the house. The first beaches and the wonderful nature reserve of the west coast are only 5 - 10 minutes away by car and can also be reached by bike. The two places Aljezur or Rogil are 5-10 minutes away by car and offer all necessary shopping facilities from the fish market to the supermarket as well as restaurants, banks and basic medical care. On the property we keep 2 cats and chickens, which are always an attraction especially for children. brWe, Heike and Klaus Mader, have been living in Portugal since 1993 and will be happy to tell you which are the best beaches and the most beautiful excursion destinations.brbrEnvironment and sustainability:brThe electricity and hot water supply is largely covered by self-generated solar energy, providing a sustainable stay.br
