With hardwood floors, a large kitchen open to the dining room and living room, it is complete with all of the modern conveniences, such as WiFi, and even an elevator. Equipped with three outdoor decks, beach chairs, and linens, an outdoor shower, the home provides a perfect spot for enjoying Bethany Beach without needing to even find the car keys!brbrThe house is accessible, with an elevator, a master bedroom with pocket door and accessible master bathroom shower and sink. Also the top dock provides a nice open view that includes the nearby Atlantic Ocean, welcome to all but especially those who may find accessing the beach in a wheelchair or with a walker challenging.brbrStays between May 1 and September 30 require a Bethany town tax of 7% plus the new 4% Delaware State tax (which was started in 2025) throughout the year which gets built into the cost and submitted as required by law. brbrThe house is available in the off season. Our unit is a 3 bedroom, 2 bath oceanfront condo on the 5th floor in the popular Sea Colony Resort in the Georgetown House with a newly remodeled kitchen for the 2023 rental season. It is a SUNDAY TO SUNDAY RENTAL (check-in at 3 and out by 10 am), which we have found to be much easier to get in and out than a Saturday to Saturday rental. It also allows our private cleaner more time to clean the unit, compared to having to rush on Saturdays like cleaners have to do to get all units finished in a four-hour window. brCarts are available to help get your gear up to the unit and we have only experienced the two elevators busy during the Saturday check-in/check-out times. Sunday check-in/check-out is easy and nonstressful. brThe unit is used by our family for a couple of weeks during the summer months and has been rented out on the weeks we are not using our home. The unit can sleep 8 and has a king-size bed in bedroom 1, two single beds in bedroom 2, a queen-size bed in bedroom 3, and a queen-size pullout couch in the living room. There are 3 tvs. One smart TV in the living room can access your Netflix account. We previously rented our unit through Resort Quest since we purchased the condo in 2006 and the unit was listed as a platinum rental property (4 stars out of 5).
