Rawthey Centre - Self-catering accommodation for 16 people

Kirkby Stephen, Kirkby Stephen, United Kingdom

For the slightly more adventurous! Rawthey Centre is the perfect place ‘to get away from it all’. Rawthey has been purposely built to offer self catering group accommodation right in the heart of beautiful countryside. The former field barn has been recently converted to an exceptional standard offering a superb group venue set in an amazing rural location. brVehicular access is limited, there is an allocated parking/turning area which is OK for 4 to 5 cars five minutes walk from the centre. This means that you will have to walk about 200 metres from the car parking area to the centre. There is a properly made footpath but not suitable for wheeled buggies/chairs/case). You should wear sensible footwear and ensure all belongings are properly packed (back packs obviously best); if arriving after dark you should bring a torch. brWith stunning views of the Howgills and the sound of the river in the valley below it is an amazing place to relax and leave your cares behind.brbrIt is great for a family holiday but please note it is an “outdoor centre” and not a “standard holiday home”. The sleeping accommodation is in bunk beds and there are no laundry facilities. It is superb if you are looking for something “different” and secluded/remote but please do not book if are looking for a town/city break!brbrNote:brMobile phone coverage is limited.brThere is WiFi at this property.brbrWe will issue refund (or change of date if you prefer) if we cannot make the property available due to government lock down regarding covid-19 (coronavirus).brbrCovid-19 Restrictions (government plan as announced on 22nd February):brSelf-catering property is closed until 11th April.brBookings starting between 12th April and 16th May: individual households only.brBookings starting between 17th May and 20th June: up to two households.brBookings starting on or after 21st June - no restrictions.
