There are also 4 additional Studio Cottages each one very unique. They are all located steps away from the Main house. One Cottage has a single king bed, a twin bed, kitchenette, and a private bath. The other has 2 queen beds and a private bathroom. There are 2 more guest cottages that each have a private bath and a king bed. THE 4 COTTAGES ARE OPEN IN SUMMER FROM APRIL TO NOVEMBER 15 th ONLY . we can provide a small Boston Whaler type boat to take you to the beach. That is correct. The absolute nicest beach in all of New England is located 6 minutes from the house. It is called Sandy Point Beach It is only accessible by water. You don't have to go in the open ocean to get there. It is safely approachable by a small boat, kayak, or SUP. From your deck you can see the train bridge that you must go under, once on the other side you will see Sandy Point 1/4 mile in front of you. This beach is pristine. The water gradually goes out making for the perfect setting. Look up their Facebook Page or Google it. The beach is all perfectly white sand under your toes without a crab, rock, oyster, or anything else below you. Well, it is newly renovated this year. Everything is new. Every bed, sheet, pillow, utensil, tv, appliance, etc. The main living area is incredible. It is completely open so that if you want to have dinner for a large group it is simple to do so. The deck is huge and can hold up to 18 for dinner. The inside dining area is huge as well. The kitchen is set up as a gourmet kitchen with all of the necessary amenities. The bedrooms are awesome. Every bedroom is very large. Every bedroom has a new internet-based TV. All six of the bedrooms have a King bed in them. Yes, that is not a misprint. Every Bedroom features a closet, nightstand, and bureau. There is a pull-out sofa also that allows for an additional 2 people to sleep comfortably. In total the home sleeps 14 extremely comfortable. If you need to add a few additional guests, this can be arranged. There is ample room for that. Upstairs can be used as kids' rooms or teenagers etc. There are 5 bathrooms throughout the home, with 1 of them being an outdoor unit. Then also 4 more bathrooms with 1 in each of the cottages.brThe grounds are incredible. We have over 12 acres of beautiful waterfront property. There is ample room for tents and parking. If you are planning a wedding or other large event, we do allow them, but you will need to speak to the owner first about additional costs and provisions. brWe have an Oceanside Cabana that has all of the kayaks, SUP's, fishing gear, paddles, even an ice maker located right next to the boat ramp. There is no need to lug heavy SUP's or kayaks any distance at all. You use them and the Cabana is right there. IT is awesome.brThe home has central A/C throughout. Charming and Unique Beach and Town Sleeps 7

I've been a Super host on another platform for 9 years and thought I'd give VRBO a try. This is my home, not a hotel- a turn of the century renovated mill house with a private fenced in yard, steps from town, minutes by car to some of the best beaches anywhere. Guests have liked my eclectic design. 7 people can fit comfortably in 4 bedrooms (1 king, 1 full, 2 twins in one bedroom, 1 twin in another= 7). Plus parlor, kitchen, living and dining areas. Well behaved pets are welcome. Beach chairs provided. Each bedroom air-conditioned. The nearby towns of Westerly, RI (walking distance) and Stonington, CT have been rated Best Small Town Living. Winery, aquarium (in Mystic-10 minutes down I95), great restaurants and bars. The property is located in a unique residential and commercial zone, so there's a shared driveway (great neighbors)-please be sure to park your cars to the left closest to the house (as you're facing the river and boat builder's compound). Yep, there's a train that runs regularly, and church bells that chime. Some road and sidewalk traffic-this is not a country home. But you have the whole house, lots of privacy, (if I'm in town I live in the tiny studio connected through a passageway and locked door located in the pink bedroom) and access to friendly, walkable small -town living, with the most amazing beaches a short drive away. Wonderful Westerly has grown leaps and bounds in the past few years, but kept its small town charm--with new restaurants, bars, bakeries, nearby cafe's, kayaking and biking, the brilliantly beautiful Wilcox Park and library, and the United Theater offering music, films, dance-the jewel in the crown. All a 7-10 minute walk around the corner. OH, and music lovers, don't forget the Knickerbocker! And the Frosty Drew Observatory! The casinos are less than 20 minutes away, closest vineyard/winery about 7 minutes down the road towards Stonington. Or go up RT1 in Rhode Island for Newport, Naragansett, Misquamicut...We have the best of both states right here in Pawcatuck (Stonington). Beer lovers Try Grey Sail, also 'just around the corner'. Yes, there are ghost tours, festivals almost every summer weekend, and, if you check out my reviews on the 'other' platform, this seems to be quite a cozy but expansive, 'charming and unique' stay for all concerned.brPS: yay for compost recycling--new garbage small bin -the green one for food scraps (no Tomahawk bones please)-please put that green bag on TOP of regular garbage in the BROWN bin outside; bottles, cans, cardboard in the BLUE bin. FYI, Garbage night is THURSDAY (pick up at 6am Friday) -just yellow bag outside with blue bin. (Leave the brown bin by the house) I'm usually around to do it. Used Sheets, towels on the floor in downstairs bathroom please, when you leave. If you feel like starting a laundry load--FANTASTIC, please don't overstuff the washer--laundry supplies below the machines. Also, please turn OFF the kitchen overhead lights if you leave the house; when you vacate, please remember to turn off all lights/AC. THANK YOU!
