The property is ideally suited for outdoor enthusiasts and is conveniently located opposite the Puffin Dive Centre. Stand up paddle boarding and scuba dive lessons are on site for a fantastic holiday experience. On-site beach for snorkelling, kayak launching etc, and a public beach (sand and busy) 4¼ miles. There are also sea angling opportunities within 220 yards. Other activities locally include walking, rambling, bird and wildlife watching, and photography.brbrA local ferry leaves every hour, only 330 yards away, and for very little money takes you to the delightful island of Kerrera. Occasional seals often put in an appearance as well. (we can give you other locations to fish)Please respect the balance of wildlife in the area. Over the years we have built good relationships with the deer often visible in the early mornings from the accommodation, The otter family, usually seen at dawn or dusk swimming in the bay, Duck families, when breeding, Puffins two working cats, Boris, the hooded crow, and many birds and wildlife. The trust these creatures have allowing our guests to see them can easily be lost by careless dog control or disrespectful behaviour to their habitats. Visitors coming to the countryside are very welcome and respectfully asked to enjoy our location and leave it for others to see as well.
