Your Own Private Mini Resort In A Large Private Estate

We had a great stay at this property in Costa Rica. Communication with the host was excellent—quick, clear, and consistent. Patricia was very helpful before and during our stay, assisting with activity planning and car bookings, which made our vacation smooth.The villa was very clean and well maintained. The bedroom layout was ideal, with each room having its own bathroom and private entrance. The patio, pool, and large covered terrace were definite highlights. The pool was clean, and the patio and outdoor furniture were in great condition.The property is located high in the mountains, surrounded by jungle, offering beautiful views and wildlife. We were fortunate to see many birds, including toucans in the coconut tree by the pool. The location is also close to Dominical, a charming village with surfing, coffee spots, and restaurants.We experienced several power outages during our stay. Storm‑related outages were understandable, though a few shorter outages affected the Wi‑Fi. When the fridge stopped working during one outage, Patricia arranged a replacement quickly. An AC issue in one bedroom was also addressed promptly.Giovanni and his wife, who live on the property, were kind and responsive—Giovanni even brought a soccer ball for our kids.For a group of 16, the kitchen felt small and somewhat outdated.Overall, a beautiful property with outstanding support from Patricia. The patio, pool, bedroom setup, location, and views were definite highlights.

Patricia is an amazing host. She is on top of everything and responds to questions right away. She can address any and all needs.

The property was perfect for our group of 12. Patricia was sweet and accommodating. Chef Pedro and family were great. Drive up to property is a little rough. Overall great location with incredible views. Ice machine at house was an added bonus. Beds were comfortable. Could have used more bath towels. Furniture cushions are worn out and very uncomfortable and the place could use a little maintenance throughout, but overall a good value for the property

This is a beautiful, secluded property that offers great gathering space, and also great privacy. We had a group of 15 people and we had plenty of space. The bedrooms are separated from the living area and each one has its own en suite bathroom. We had a great time and the host was extremely helpful.

Beautiful property in the jungle. Everyone enjoyed the swimming pool. The house was clean and had everything we needed. Patricia was so helpful in coordinating our excursions, the in house Chef Service(we highly recommend) and our transportation from the airport to the house and then our car rental delivery to the house. What a piece of paradise! So many things to see/do in the area. The infinity pool was a lifesaver with the kids as they were never bored. The food in the area was outstanding. Grocery store was close and their meat was phenomenal. Everything about this vacation was more than I could have hoped for...including the host. She helped with everything, booked our excursions, our chef, who I highly recommend (Pedro). A vacation all 16 of us shall remember until our last day.

To preface this review, the property is beautiful. A gorgeous, open air Spanish Villa style house with a great view. But the inability to deliver basic utilities spoils that quickly.During our one week visit we lost electrical power twice, meaning no air condition in a hot and humid atmosphere. Each lasted about 2.5 hours, one at bedtime, one early in the morning. The host’s booklet said we might experience “brown outs” and if it lasted more than 15 minutes, to call her, so apparently this is an issue.More troublesome is the fact that we lost all water on two occasions, the last time on the day before we were to leave meaning no showers after a long hot day, and no showers before we left to travel home the following morning! We attempted to contact the host repeatedly on several occasions to address the problems, with multiple texts, and with direct calls. She would not respond to texts or answer the phone. Only after several unanswered calls and some hours later would I get any kind of text. It got to the point we had to use buckets of water from the pool to flush the toilets. This house is two miles up a semi steep dirt road so maybe delivering utilities is difficult. Not my ideal trip and I would not re-visit this property.

Wonderful trip!! We brought 13 family members and it was great for all ages. The home was stunning and taken very good care of! The pool was so lovely.Patricia the property manager was a rockstar! Incredibly helpful setting up outings, always responsive, and very helpful on all recommendations.We went on three excursions, horseback riding, a catamaran dinner cruise, and an ATV tour! All were so awesome! The kids just loved all of them. We also hired Chef Pedro and his mother Lorena to make dinner several of our nights there, and OMG, worth every single penny! The food was out of this world.Highly recommend this place! We would definitely go back!

We had such great experience. The Villa Ambiente was beautiful, secluded, but easy to get to the beach and shopping. We liked it so much that we spent a great deal of time relaxing there by the pool.

Our second stay at this Villa, the previous being 10 years ago. Patricia was phenomenal and extremely helpful! We will be back, hopefully not 10 years!

The property manager was very attentive and responsive. The property was clean and well maintained with spacious rooms, nice patio and deck views of the surrounding areas. The kitchen and laundry facilities were satisfactory for the needs of guests. The pool and rear deck area allow for maximum viewing and recreational use. Would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for the perfect getaway.

Our stay at Villa Ambiente was absolutely wonderful! There was a group of us celebrating my birthday and it was the perfect place to stay! From the moment I first chatted with Patricia, until the very end, she was so helpful, responsive, and kind! All of her referrals for the chef, Chef Pedro, to the massages by Angelica, so the adventures we took, were spot on! The house is just as pictured and the location is great!every person who stayed at the Villa left feeling extremely satisfied and full of happiness. We will stay here again! The Villa Ambiente worked out to be a perfect location for our family to enjoy both a reunion and a celebration of our 50th Wedding Anniversary.There was lots of room for all of us to hang out without being on top of each other, and the pool was a great hit with the 6 children. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen well stocked, and the environment was outstanding. The Villa is a real gem and we are so glad that we found it.
