You are ON THE WATER. Walk out your front door and down the private walkway into the Caribbean. Swim and snorkel over coral reefs at water’s edge that are home to over 10 species of colorful tropical fish. A short way out is a broad sandbar 3 to 5 feet deep that is excellent for wading and swimming.
Sip morning coffee on our dock at water’s edge. Enjoy breakfast in the gazebo or veranda. Relax in the hammocks. Grill your evening meal on our shaded veranda while you catch the cooling breezes and watch the sunset.
We provide four kayaks that can be launched from our sea walkway for exploring Rainbow Bay.
Rainbow Beach is a minute stroll away. Shallow and calm it is a wonderful beach for kids and adults and offers great snorkeling along the jetty. Relax under tiki huts with picnic tables and benches (seasonal). We provide noodle floats, beach towels, and beach chairs. It is a ten minute walk from Dolphin House to the Atlantic side of the island where you will find more beaches to explore.
Dolphin House offers privacy and year round comfortable living inside and out. Our huge veranda has comfortable seating areas, tables for dining that sit four or six, two reclining loungers, lounge chairs, and a propane grill.
Two of our three bedrooms have sea views and en suite bathrooms. These bedrooms are situated at opposite ends of the home with kitchen and living/dining area in between. This floor plan provides privacy and distance. The third bedroom with bath off the central hallway has a view of gardens front and side. Open the doors and windows and enjoy natural breezes from the Caribbean and the Atlantic. Ceiling fans and standing fans in all rooms contribute to additional air flow.
Just outside our veranda doors you can enjoy noodle floats, swimming, snorkeling, kayaking, hammock lounging, and grilling without ever having to get into a car. Rainbow Beach is just a minute walk away.
But of course Eleuthera offers so much more. Be sure to explore deserted beaches, local community shops and restaurants. Meet friendly people with welcoming smiles. Visit Eleuthera and Dolphin House. You will want to return.

Rainbow Bay was the best!!! You can definitely imagine heaven when your there. The water was crystal clear and there are sometimes thousands of prisms on the sand floor! On calm water days I absolutely loved kayaking and snorkeling there. The Dolphin house has soooo many extras with it, you wont be disappointed. The water view from the porch or gazebo is always so beautiful!! Rainbow Inn down the street has the very best restaurant we found in Eleuthera, its called sunset cove and rainbow room). We ate there several times and were impressed every time with the food and service.
We had a great time. House was fantastic. Thanks for accommodating my family!
This was our second trip to Eleuthera and we had another amazing week at the Dolphin House! Brenda (the caretaker) is wonderful to work with and so friendly. The house has everything you could possibly need and more. It’s in a great location! You will not regret staying here!
This was our fourth trip to Eleuthera, and the first time staying at Dolphin house. The home is well stocked with every amenity available. The location and the condition of the home is absolutely amazing. This property sets the bar extremely high, cannot imagine staying elsewhere on our future visits.
The property was excellent and the location on the island was perfect. We throughly enjoyed our stay. The house has everything a guest needs for a comfortable stay. The veranda was spectacular!
Well, back from my 4th trip to Eleuthera, and 2nd time renting Dolphin house. I loved it the 1st time, but wanted to experience other parts of the island.I came back, because nothing beats this place! The location is perfect, Central to most everything. The outdoor space is phenomenal! Views that can not be beat, gorgeous sunsets, great Snorkeling , and the gazebo and porch are fantastic to lounge around. Coffee on the gazebo, cocktails on the porch!The layout of the house is perfect as well. Plenty of privacy, and common space, there were 5 of us.Kendra was always very quick with responses, and extremely helpful. I rented this house 11 years ago, and not much had changed, there was no need to!If I go back to Eleuthera, this will be the place I go back to! This is one of the best homes we have rented through VRBO! The owners have thought of everything you might need. The air conditioning is great and doesn’t take long to cool the room down when you get back at night. We had a couple of hiccups during our vacation and the owners were very responsive and great to work with. We enjoyed snorkeling all around Rainbow Bay. This was our first trip to Eleuthera and we definitely don’t plan on it being our last!
By far the best property to rent at Rainbow Bay...Not only the location to the public beach, but your own direct walk in access to the water.....and every amenity you could ask for!The owners are very modest in their marketing, they have everything you need ready to go...just bring your clothes and stop at the grocery store. Our group will be back!
We loved the place. Plenty of creature comforts, generous availability of water toys, towels, hammocks, sunscreen, bbq etc. very welcoming and homey. You have to like the family that owns this place.
