Villa With Private Pool

We had a great stay - everything perfect! The house with pool great.

The villa was ideal, loads of space for a party of 9 with great views. The previous reviews mentioned the steps which would definately be a challenge for the older generation, and possibly more lighting for the outside areas, but overall excellent.

We had a wonderful two weeks stay. The villa was perfect, very spacious for our 3 families and very well equipped. The pool was beautiful and the many seating areas provided lots of space. The walk to Alvor was quick and easy with lots of lovely restaurants and shops to explore. It was so nice to be able to let the teenagers explore alone! The area was quiet and felt very safe. Aart was on hand and very quick to help us out with one or two small issues. Would highly recommend, a fabulous villa and location. Thank you.

Excellent property, lots of space, we were 9 adults but could easily have been 12 and there would still have been plenty space.Have marked down a little for cleanliness, the pool (particularly tiling) could definitely have done with a good scrub.Very well equipped, it’s obviously not a new building but everything was in working order (bar a few minor snags communicated directly to the host which absolutely would not have changed our decision to stay here).Location up the hill, but means you can see the sea, and is more peaceful. Alvor an easy enough 20min walk in, 30 to the beach (or 5 in the car).Would recommend and would stay again.

Really lovely villa was very well equipped and the pool was perfect! Couldn’t have asked for more.

Our party was 7 - myself, my daughters and their families, including 2 children. The villa is beautiful, and has a glorious setting, with panoramic views! It is a little shabbier than the pictures, but still lovely, with pretty bedrooms and loads of living space.Outside, the pool area is fabulous, but be warned, there are a lot of steps! Definitely not for toddlers, but our girls loved it, and barely left the pool! The location was perfect for us - Alvor with a huge choice of restaurants, and a great supermarket in easy reach.The barbecue was disappointing, but the eating area beautiful. The kitchen was well equipped.All in all, we had a wonderful time, and made many happy memories.

The villa was lovely, plenty of space, well equipped. The pool area was superb with plenty of facilities for all ages.The more mature and less active of our party found the many stairs and steps daunting, likewise the walk to Alvor centre but the Ubers were very speedy. Apart from this we had a great family holiday.

Property is in a quiet location within 15mins of the centre of Alvor. The villa is spacious and well equipped too. It makes a great base for a large family or group. We all enjoyed it immensely.

This property was absolutely perfect for our extended family gathering. Accommodating six adults and three children (aged 9, 12, and 16), it suited all of our needs flawlessly. While the property does feature numerous stairs, both the kids and my parents (aged 74 and 76) managed them well throughout our stay. Each evening, we enjoyed a delightful stroll downtown for gelato and soaked in the vibrant nightlife. The check-in process was seamless, with timely email and message updates provided days in advance. Our visit coincided with the Euro Cup Futbol, and we relished the lively atmosphere in Alvor while watching the games. Additionally, we embarked on a breathtaking sea cave tour in Lagos and explored the stunning local beaches. This experience was truly unforgettable, and we eagerly anticipate returning in the future!

Aart was lovely and communicative. The rooms were clean and spacious. There was all the facilities you need (and a barbecue!!). The pool was great. Good location too as not too far from Alvor centre.

The house itself is beautiful with all the convenience of modern living. Being on top of a hill, it had the best views. Having said that, getting up to the house required a lot of stairs, only the main stair going to the front door had a concrete hand rail. The pool area stairs had no handrails. There were also short stairs going in and out of some of the rooms. Seniors in our group had a difficult time with it and carrying groceries up was strenuous. Safety issues is a concern specially with the elderly and when alcohol is involved. Adding to the safety issue was the absence of lighting on the main stairs which was the highest. Had to use my phone flashlight to navigate about 40 steps. Although the amenities were modern, beddings are not up to par. My room did not have pillow cases and the pillows were so lumpy. I had to use my T-shirt as a pillow case for several nights. There was only duvets as your cover. On warm nights there was no choice of sheets or thinner blanket to use. We had to call the caretaker/owner to address the issues which should have been done prior to our arrival.
