The house and the service of the caretakers, Alberto and Cynthia were amazing.

It comes with two house caretakers, Cinthia and Alberto, who are so sweet and take care of everything from cleaning, maintenance and helping you with bags. We hired a chef for the duration of our stay, which I highly recommend doing as well.

Beautiful house! Great outdoor area & comfortable, clean outdoor furniture. The view was unbelievable. Alberto & Cynthia made dinner for us most nights - every one loved what they served. The golf cart was a hit with the 3 teens traveling with us.

It is a convenient location and has stunning views. The pool was great as was the access to the denote. Our only complaint is the lack of working A/C in the main living area. The property contact said it wasn't working and that was listed in the description -but that's not true, it was not explicitly stated that way. It was over 90 degrees every day we were there so I can't believe they wouldn't repair it - it made that portion of the house unlivable during the day and required all of the other units to be running all of the time. This impacted our stay. The rest of the home was great and well kept and maintained with nice furniture and amenities. I would recommend if the AC was repaired.

It was a nice surprise to have a visit from Rhett and get some very helpful information. All our interactions via e-mail were so prompt and helpful. I loved to swim in the pool and look out at the ocean - so relaxing. We had fun with a rented golf cart, driving in to town. And it was so nice to be within a two minute walk to Yal ku lagoon.

The home itself was stunning and the views were amazing. The caretakers (Alberto and Cynthia) were so incredibly kind and helpful. The kitchen was well stocked and the décor and furniture in the home was beautiful and comfortable. My only regret is that we were unable to access yal-ku lagoon directly from the property due to the rough water conditions. I can't wait to come back to this property again!

Everything was top notch at this residence. We had stunning views, a fully equipped kitchen, and a caretaker who was incredible. Alberto and his wife Cynthia were incredibly welcoming, helpful and hardworking. We hope to return to Villa Gauguin in the future. It was an incredible stay!!

Great places within the home to hang out and view the ocean. So many activities within a short distance and a beautiful beach in Tulum. Property management company was extremely helpful setting up a car reservation and directions to the home. On site managers were helpful and hard working. Be prepared for bugs and don't leave food out. I would recommend to friends and family and we hope to come back soon.
