Peace, relaxation and privacy in the Lucca countryside. Swimming pool and air conditioning.

We stayed at this villa for 7 weeks. It was a perfect base for exploring the region. The property is well set up for families/groups - 5 bedrooms, all with ensuites. The pool is large and was a swimmable temperature until the end of September (around 27 degrees Celsius in August, dipping to 21 degrees by early October). Lots of mosquitos in the area, but the villa has fly screens which is great. Our hosts were exceptional - friendly and attended to any issues promptly. We were very sad to leave! Highly recommended.

This property blew us away. Tucked away in the Tuscan hills with a gorgeous pool. The house was so well equipped and all the 5 bedrooms had en-suites which was perfect for our group. The house was so well equipped with everything you would need. The host was absolutely brilliant. Would definitely stay here again, so thank you Ricardo.

Lovely villa just outside Lucca. Kitchen and bedrooms all lovely and the outside eating area is fantastic if the weather is good (which it was). Inside living rooms would be a bit dark/small for a house party of 10 people if you needed to spend a long time indoors. But overall very good.

Would recommend this villa to anyone with a family group looking to stay in the beautiful Tuscan countryside with very easy access to the lovely city of Lucca. The pool was the cleanest we have had. Vittorio was a brilliant host. Responsive and friendly. Would love to stay here again.

Amazing house outside Lucca. Great location for touring the area but also to get away from the hustle. 9 of us used the house and it never felt like we were on top of each other. Gorgeous house with amazing pool. Everyone room has aircon and its own bathroom. Great kitchen and outside areas for eating are nice Lovely views over the countryside and mountains. It was perfect! Lovely property about 15 minutes by car from Lucca wall. Owner was very responsive and very helpful with recommendations. All bedrooms are very spacious. Outdoor areas are furnished well and have spectacular views.

Villa Sundial is the perfect vacation home: tastefully decorated, spacious, bright, each room with private bathroom and air conditioning, lots of privacy, a fully equipped kitchen with a large gas stove, a beautiful garden (almost a small park), a beautiful swimming pool where you can spend the day in the shade of an olive tree, a large barbecue - what else could you ask for? Large comfortable house with everythingwe needed. Very peaceful and relaxing location. Vittorio was a helpful and responsive owner. Would definitely stay again.

Great pool, good bedrooms with dito bathrooms. Clean house. Very private location. A bit hard to find the first time (dont trust your nav system). Florence is about an hour drive (1,5 to city centre), Pisa 45 mins. Lucca is very nice to visit. Large supermarket 15 min. Minus: Wifi is slow and only in and close to the house (not at the pool).

Everything was accurately described on the website. We particularly enjoyed the outdoor eating arrangement with grill and lounge area with a view of the countryside. Fully fenced in grounds for accompanying canine friends. Great pool. Etc. Etc. Last but not least our hosts were very nice and helpful. Six stars if I could give it that many.
