Bridgecroft Villa

Located in the heart of the Richmond village, our French provincial themed villa was built in 2020.

It is a pleasant 10 minute stroll to the town centre via a laneway towards Richmond - refer to the map in the guestbook.

The villa is located in an established orchard with a range of fruit you are welcome to use when in season. A private spa is nestled outside among the fruit trees and is heated to 39 degrees Celsius all your round. A BBQ is located onthe rear deck for your use.

The villa has two bedrooms with queen size beds and electric blankets on both beds. It has and an open plan kitchen - dining - lounge. Heating and cooling is by air conditioning. The bathroom has a walk-in shower, toilet and hand basin with heated towel rail.

Guests are able to use a washing machine and dryer at no extra charge. WiFi and Netflix are also available. Double glazing provides both excellent thermal insulation from heat/cold and noise reduction.

The kitchen has an induction cook top and electric oven with extraction fan. It is stocked with a full range of cooking equipment as well as a fully automatic coffee machine stock with fresh coffee beans. A dishwasher is also included.

Parking is provided onsite for two small cars or one large one.

With quality accommodation for up to four people, this is the ideal location to base yourself to explore southern Tasmania.

We are happy to extend your visit beyond the advertised days, just drop us an email to arrange these.

Upgrades and products available upon arrived can be organised.

This was a pleasant little cottage. It was well-equipped kitchen wise. Even milk and bread were there! The location felt like you were out in the country, but there were really a few neighbors around. Everything was immaculately clean. We had a problem with the heat one cloudy, chilly, windy day. I turned the heat down when we left in the morning, and then we just never got warm when we returned late afternoon. However, we are used to central heating, not a heat pump. The next day was fine. Morning sunlight really helps warm things up.We stayed here because it was a between our two main activities. We roamed Hobart one day and drove up Mt. Wellington; the other day we went to the scenic peninsula and old historic prison. It was also convenient to Hobart airport. We didn't do much in Richmond other than buy gas and a few groceries. There is a pretty old bridge in town. Thanks for a comfortable stay!

The hosts have thought of so many extras - what a credit to them and it makes a stay away even more exciting to come across those extra special touches! Bath robes, breakfast goods and even take away cups to make an extra coffee to take on the road. A great stay!

Property was exceptional. Everything that was promised was delivered. Perfect location. Great amenities. A little more hanging space and draws for clothing would help 2 chronic over packers. Bathroom shelving for copious bottles of lotions for makeup and cleansing, would also be beneficial. Bed and bedding was luxurious and created a great night's sleep.Already planning our next visit.

What a stunning place, in a beautiful part of Tasmania. Great communication with owner and simple checkin/ arrival process. The property was easy to find, beautifully clean and had everything you needed with an added bonus of a hot tub. Would definitely stay again.

The villa was very welcoming with breakfast and hot drink options available. Beautifully decorated in french style. Easy walking distance to Richmond village. We enjoyed the spa. The owners were helpful and great communicators. We had a little trouble with internet access, but all we had to do was ask for assistance and the owners helped out. Would highly recommend.

Awesome, relaxing stay which was exactly what we needed after touring Tasmania. Everything we needed was in the villa. Didn’t get to use the spa sadly but it definitely looked inviting and relaxing.

Beautiful property in gorgeous Richmond. It had everything we could have needed and the spa was a great addition. Short walk to Main Street of Richmond. Modern and very clean. A little bit small for our family but still loved it

This is a very comfortable place to stay in Richmond. We lacked for nothing. Andrew was very supportive. Maybe not in Provence, but maybe as good.
