9 Rooms. 600 sqm house. 3000 sqm garden. 500 sqm Parking.

We had 14 people, ages 7-70, stay at this house the first week of July 2023. The house owner did a great job being accommodating and helpful, there was plenty of space, the beach up the hill was incredible, and it has a delightful porch to hang relax and hang out at night. Some advice for those reading: you definitely want to rent cars if you're doing anything but beach stuff -- it's a 25 minute walk to the nearest subway/grocery store/etc. And do not sleep with the windows open -- there are no screens on the windows, and the mosquitos in this region are no joke.

My family enjoy traveling to Europe a lot and have rented places everywhere, from Amsterdam to Lisbon to Dusseldorf and others. This experience was by far the best of the best! I don't typically write reviews, but the Azkorri Beach experience went way above my expectations that I'm compelled to write something. Start with the host, Alfredo! You frankly couldn't ask for a better host, and Alfredo is by far the best host I've ever had! Alfredo worked with us from the point of reservation all the way to arrival. But more than that! We came in on a weekend and there were very few choices for dinner. Alfredo worked with us, helped us buy food stuffs and snacks for dinner and breakfast the following morning! I tried to pay him back but he said no. That blew our minds! The Azkorri Beach House itself was just simply a charmer! Oh my God, I wish I had better words to describe this beautiful mansion! We had six children from three families, the oldest aged 10, and they had a blast because there was so much to do in the house itself! Our families all had more than enough rooms, bathrooms and more bathrooms and more bathrooms; it's just a sprawling palace well maintained and filled with loving care! Did I mention the fire places and the barbecue pit outside? Something else happened to me at the Azkorri: moka coffee! Sounds crazy, but it was my first time making coffee using the moka pot, and I ordered one for myself while still in Bilbao, and I've been making moka ever since! I could go on and on about our experience at the Azkorri Beach House, and honestly, I didn't want to leave this house, and I know if I'm ever in Bilbao again for a family vacation, this is the only place I'd stay! I speak for my siblings and their children as well because we all had such a great time rocking this house and having all our kids having fun at this beautiful palace! Don't forget, there's a beach a few minutes away, several other beaches around too, and so so many things to see and enjoy. The weird thing was that almost all of the things we enjoyed during our stay were within 25 minutes of the Azkorri Beach House! We really had such a great time and I'm sure many more people will say the same!

Alfredo was an incredible host. He was very responsive and gave as all we needed. The house is fully equipped and is 10 mins from the beach. We were 15 people and did fit very well. It has a great private parking spot and an enormous garden with a barbacue. Thanks in deed Alfredo!
