Winterbrook House: A Jewel in Manchester Village. 15 min to Skiing & Equestrian

We had a fantastic long weekend in Manchester! The house is beautiful, clean, and very large. There were 8 of us, and there was more than enough room. The kitchen is great...well stocked with cooking essentials and high-end appliances. Suzy is a very accommodating host and was quick to respond throughout the process. We are already looking forward to booking our next trip! 

I have stayed at many VRBO homes, yet this is my first review. This house is beautiful with a gourmet kitchen, multiple spots to enjoy a meal and two fireplaces (one gas, one wood) that made our stay even more enjoyable on cold, snowy evenings. Our boys loved the large game/tv/family room, and the adults loved the elegant and cozy sitting room. This home is private and secluded with a large yard---featuring two remarkable birch trees--yet easily walkable to Manchester's historic district, restaurants, yoga, as well as the Equinox Resort and mountain hiking trails. Access to Bromley and Stratton skiing is also convenient. The owner is very responsive, kind and has lovely decorating taste. I highly recommend this home for a relaxing and memorable Vermont escape!

House was great - wonderful layout for family group. Suzy was very responsive to any questions we had during our stay. Kitchen was huge and easy to prepare meals.

The layout of the house was perfect for a large family weekend getaway. The house was beautiful spotless and so close to town. The owner was so accessible and accommodating. We would absolutely rent this house again!

This is a beautiful and spacious home perfectly suited for a relaxing retreat. The location near town could not be more convenient. We had a lovely time spending two weeks in this house in August.

This house was perfect and exactly how described. Lots of space inside for many to enjoy different sitting rooms. Highly recommend.

Beautiful home. We loved being there!

Incredibly spacious home! Private and secluded location, yet very convenient to town and skiing. Our favorite indoor spot was around the kitchen fireplace and banquette nook. The grounds are amazing, not just the views but the allure to go out and romp in the backyard snow -- which we all did, young and old! Shared friendly communication with Suzy from the outset on all matters; she is a very accommodating host.

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful house—it was so comfortable and inviting! The property was perfect for our group with young kids, who had a blast playing outside and exploring the area. The house offered plenty of spacious bedrooms and was very well-equipped, making it easy to relax and enjoy our time there. I would absolutely stay here again and again!

Our stay at Steps from Equinox was absolutely magical! From the moment we arrived, I felt like I had stepped onto the set of a Christmas movie. The house is even more spectacular than in the photos – exuding warmth and comfort. It didn’t take long for me to feel completely at home. (about 5 seconds!)The home is tastefully decorated and cozy, yet spacious enough for everyone to enjoy their own private moments when needed.The renovated kitchen is stunning – beautifully designed with every detail thoughtfully planned. It is stocked with every tool you could possibly need – from bowls and pots to cutting boards and utensils. A beautiful charcuterie board was ready for serving, along with high-quality glassware, flatware, and dishes. No detail was overlooked, ensuring we had everything we needed to cook, serve, and enjoy meals with ease and style. The kitchen became the heart of the home for the week, and we all agreed that the cozy seating area around the gas fireplace was our favorite spot.The property itself is a winter wonderland, with the grounds blanketed in snow – the perfect holiday backdrop. And it is literally just steps from Equinox Pond, where we enjoyed a glorious stroll on a crisp (19 degrees!) Christmas morning.Suzy, the host, could not have been more gracious or attentive. The house was immaculate when we arrived, and she went out of her way to make us feel welcome. Thank you, Suzy, for making our Christmas week memorable!

Comfortable and well appointed. Lots of space to spread out or hang in smaller groups if desired, wonderful peaceful grounds and a short drive from the Center of town

Absolutely stunning home! Set back away from the road on a beautifully manicured property with tons of privacy, this home is everything we could have hoped for. We stayed here for our wedding weekend and did tons of getting ready photos and bridal party photos. The kitchen is gorgeous, and wonderfully sized. The home has many rooms which is great for large parties and is beautifully decorated. It’s a mix of modern VT farmhouse with a French upscale flair. Suzy was quick to respond to every questions, couldn’t recommend enough!

Stunningly beautiful property and lovely host!!

This is an exquisite home on the most beautiful street in Manchester. Wonderful location close to town,hiking trails, golf and the Equinox. The open floor plan of the downstairs is wonderful. The entertainment room complete with large screen TV and ping pong was a wonderful gathering place. The beautifully renovated kitchen is completely stocked with everything needed to make a fabulous dinner. The beds are all super comfortable. The host is lovely and very responsive. Hope to return.
