This luxurious getaway awaits you!
We love the house. It was our third time there. The hosts we’re very to communicate with and the house was well equipped with all our needs and very organized.
Linda and PJ - We absolutely had a blast, again. We already booked for 2024!
We pick out a new place for college friends and spouses to meet every year. Vermont in the fall was chosen this year. Fabulous colors. Great weather. Absolutely perfect place to enjoy it all for four days. The home was our home in every sense of the word. Thank you, Clarkes.
It’s hard to find words that accurately describe just how perfect this five bedroom with ensuites actually is for a group of 10/ 5 couples. Entering into the gorgeous family room/kitchen fully equipped and dining room area you are greeted with warm wood trim everywhere as well as a huge stone wood burning two sided fireplace. Ample room for all of us to linger and laugh and a gourmet kitchen where we all could prep and create in a BIG CHILL kinda way. Alexa provided fabulous music. Bedrooms are wonderful, fresh linens, new fluffy towels, puzzles, board games, bocce ball, Corn hole.. a small pond on the property is stocked and fishing equipment displayed in garage. Hiking path and hot tub as well as cozy spots to escape to with a glass of wine. We are here last week September and it’s beautiful. Can only imagine ski season. There is a full ski storage area with pot belly stove. The owners were available if we needed but the home really works and there was no need. Highly recommended for a family or group. Thank you so much to owners.
This is our second time staying at the property and it was just as fabulous as the first. It’s close to town and is beautifully furnished and comfortable. Linda and PJ are wonderful to work with and are quick to respond to any questions. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it. Maria
Linda was so helpful with all our needs. We were in town for a funeral and we’re having a dinner for family that was in town. The house was very easy to entertain in and had everything we could possibly need. The view is incredible and we saw deer and turkey. We were also close to Manchester and Dorset. Highly recommend.
We had a wonderful experience staying in this home. It feels very open and is so so clean. Beautiful views and cozy fires. The very clean hot tub was a big hit for the kids. And convenient to Bromley Mountain.
Clean, well located, and very hospitable property
I have two many words to describe our stay. First we were welcomed with a nice welcome package from our hosts. Linda did an impeccable job of decorating for Fall. Pumpkins and Fall decor in all rooms including outside. There were three couples and two children ages 2 and 4. We all had our own space along with the open space of outside. My 4 year old grandson delighted in catching a fish(released) in the pond on the property. The house was fully equipped for our needs. The home is located a few miles away from town and we felt secluded in our own little world. Great family time! Breathtaking! We did communicate with our hosts who were available when needed. Best week for us leaf peepers! The colors were outstanding. Great area with great restaurants and shopping for us women. Great golfing and fishing area. I can’t say enough about our stay, but had to summarize! Thank you so much Linda and PJ Clarke.
It was seamless from beginning to end. We loved staying at Sleighbell Lane. The house is amazing!!! It is so comfortable and so clean and so beautiful! Meeting Linda today was the icing on the cake of a wonderful stay. We will be back.
My girlfriends and I loved staying in this beautiful home in one of our favorite towns in Vermont. We have visited this area for years for a Fall getaway and this is by the far the best home we have stayed in. We were pleasantly surprised to see the house decorated with fall decor and pumpkins - it was such a lovely touch! The view out the back and the floor to ceiling windows was unmatched. All of my friends enjoyed the fact that each bedroom has an en suite bathroom and that everything we could have needed was included. I would 100% recommend and would 100% stay here again!
Beautiful house and view. The owners were quick to respond to any questions we had. We highly recommend this vacation spot.
We loved the house, the views and the Manchester area. The house is very well stocked with everything you could want for a relaxing vacation.
This is a lovely home on so many dimensions: high quality furnishings and finishes throughout the house - everything feels substantive from furniture to woodwork to pots and pans; the views are amazing; the space easily accommodated our three generation family, including three pre-schoolers and one-preteen; having a nice bathroom for each bedroom was a real plus. The hosts and the property manager (Tara) were extremely responsive, especially the one morning when there was an issue with the water. It was cheerfully resolved by mid-morning. There's lots to do in the area - Dorset Marble Quarry was a big hit. Some intrepid members of our family jumped, others were delighted to watch. North Meadow Farm is worth a visit, especially for the little ones. Manchester is good for strolling. We especially liked Al Ducci's Italian Market - good enough that we got sandwiches there twice. Children's room at the public library was a big hit, the playground and pool at Dana Thompson Memorial Park also provided good, accessible activities. Benson's Pond was a fun swimming hole for some in our crowd. Others tried Lye Brook trail for a hike. Nothing is in walking distance, but quick driving distance. In all, we loved our stay! Thank you Linda, PJ and Tara.
We have been renting VRBO homes for our family vacations for many years. This home was amazing. The indoor spaces and the outdoor areas made staying there so enjoyable. It is well located near interesting shops as well as accessable to great outdoor activities. The house is well equipped with all you need. One of the best homes we have rented. Would love to visit again in the Fall.
